Last Updated: 2024/09/19, Fitness black mountain pig has a higher market price.

"this year, the price of live pigs in Black Mountain is 20 yuan per catty. A good Black Mountain pig can be sold for 30 yuan per jin at home. It is even better if it is smoked into bacon, which is sold to 45 yuan per jin. And the company in Chengdu direction has no more than a thousand Black Mountain pigs at a price of 20 yuan per jin, not to mention Zhejiang, because the people around them can not be satisfied. Some are angry when they don't get it. I have offended many relatives and friends! " Zheng Yinfeng, a villager of Mahu Village, Yingshan Town, Xuyong County, said to the author happily.

Why is this black mountain pig so popular? it turns out that all their pigs are free-range, spending 365 days a year in the mountains, eating wild Gastrodia elata, Bupleurum, Ophiopogon, plantain, houttuynia, honeysuckle, bitter Artemisia, rhubarb and other Chinese herbal medicines, and drinking natural mountain spring water, not only increase the amount of exercise of pigs, reduce fat content, and their domestic pigs never get sick. But it takes a pig that has been fed for a year to grow to about 250 jin. Every morning and evening, the pig is fed some corn flour, and only 60% of the pig is full. The pig is driven up the mountain at dawn, and the pig knows to go home at night. In this way, the pig is not only healthy, but also the meat is delicious and tastes great.

Break the traditional breeding model and keep fit. Heishan pigs are popular all the way.

Zheng Yinfeng bought two hundred well-bred white-haired pigs from Longchang, Sichuan Province in 2009 to raise them in captivity. "at that time, I thought I could make a lot of money, but in 2009, the market of live pigs was not good, and they could only sell for 3 to 5 yuan per catty. At that time, the price of corn was 1.2 yuan per catty. After being tired for a year, I not only lost my own labor force, but also lost a lot of money. After losing 100,000 yuan, I decided not to raise any more pigs after a period of illness." When Zheng Yinfeng talked about this, she still had tears in her eyes.

Zheng Yinfeng's husband Li Tunyi is a forestry worker in the state-run half of the mountain forest farm in Xuyong County. He often heard leaders talk about the benefits of raising pigs under the forest at the meeting, which can not only reduce the amount of grain, but also enable pigs to weed, loosen the soil, and fertilize properly for the forests. form a symbiotic and mutually beneficial system of pig forest, reduce manual management, and increase workers' income. Li Tunyi and two other workers managed more than 10,000 mu of woodland in half of the state-run mountain forest farm. The leader's words attracted the couple again, so why not use these 10,000 mu of woodland for breeding? So the two decided to breed again, an idea that was strongly supported and helped by the leaders of the state-run half of the mountain forest farm, but this time they did not use captivity, but adopted free-range breeding, and if they still lost money, they would no longer raise pigs.

In 2010, the couple bought five local black sows from Shuilao Township, Xuyong County. "by 2011, the five sows had given birth to nearly 100 piglets (known locally as Yashu pigs), sold 50 to nearby villagers and fed 48 of their own. When these pigs grow to 50 jin, they are driven up the mountain. Except for heavy rain or hail in the sky, even on snowy days, these pigs are maintained on the mountain by eating weeds, insects, grass roots, and so on. By adopting the method of ecological farming, not only food is saved every day, but pigs exercise all day in the mountains, and they can often eat Gastrodia elata, Bupleurum, Ophiopogon, plantain, Houttuynia cordata, honeysuckle, Artemisia annua, rhubarb, and so on. So my pig never gets sick, and pork is reassuring to eat. " In 2011, all these 48 pigs were sold at a price of 15 yuan per catty of live pigs, which is fully double the price of black pigs raised in captivity in Hong Kong. Excluding the cost, excluding the labour force, they earned 90,000 yuan. In 2012, 70 black mountain pigs were raised, and the couple earned more than 130,000 yuan.

"but some consumers pointed out that the fat of the local black pig is thick and tastes a little greasy. In 2013, we bought five local sows from Longchang, Sichuan, and bought a Duroc breeder pig at Sichuan Leshan Mata breeding Pig Factory for 4000 yuan. by crossing with Longchang and water-scrawled sows, the pigs became fatter and the meat was more delicious. It tastes greasy but not greasy. From 2013 to 2015, the price of Heishan pigs basically did not change much, ranging from 15 yuan to 16 yuan per jin, and the number of pigs raised by themselves was basically 80 per year, earning nearly 400000 yuan in the past three years alone. "

"in 2016, pig prices rose, and Black Mountain pigs rose to 20 yuan per catty of live pigs, but the price of corn was still 1.1yuan per catty. The 100black pigs raised by my family and the 100piglets sold, excluding the cost, not counting the labor input, earned 240000 yuan this year, and many companies from Chengdu and Zhejiang have come to sign contracts to buy Black Mountain pigs. They can only wait in line next year. But next year I will have to increase the scale of my own breeding! " Li Tunyi said proudly.

The rich do not forget to help the poor and lead the masses to become rich together.

Zheng Yinfeng was originally a female cadre in Mahu Village, Yingshan Township. In 2013, after earning money, Zheng Yinfeng persuaded the people around her to engage in breeding together with her, and sold each 50-jin pig to poor local households at a price of 100 yuan cheap. but some people are timid and afraid of losing money, so they simply do not participate, and some only buy one or two piglets to be raised in captivity and use them to kill and eat during the Spring Festival, which simply cannot form a scale. In 2014, local people bought only 20 piglets at Zheng Yinfeng's house, and the rest were sold to Xuyong and Luzhou. In 2015, when a crowd visited his house, they tasted the taste of his black mountain pig. It was only spread that the local people bought 100 piglets, of which four precision poor households also bought a total of six piglets. Not a single pig was sold abroad in 2015.

In 2016, the couple also bought five sows in Longchang on behalf of local poor families. As pig prices were popular this year, sows were not easy to buy, and eight poor households did not buy them. During the author's interview, the couple were still in constant contact with farmers in the direction of Longchang. Li Tunyi said that after the biogas digester was all built, he went to Longchang to continue to help poor families buy sows.

In the seven years since the couple began to raise pigs in 2009, they have spent more than 200,000 yuan on local small work, solving some of the local surplus labor.
