Hu Zhenqing, director of the village, said that the annual income from selling dates in his village is nearly 3 million yuan, and there are more than 400 people in the village. on average, each villager earns 8000 yuan from selling dates, and selling dates has become an important source of income for villagers. The village plans to cultivate 20,000 winter jujube saplings with high economic value and distribute them to the villagers free of charge. The existing crisp jujube trees were replaced by grafting to improve the profit of Xiaogaozhuang crisp jujube.
At present, Jinghai Town is speeding up the construction of winter jujube planting demonstration project in Xiaogaozhuang, and promoting the development of winter jujube planting areas in three villages: Xiaogaozhuang, Yidukou and Yutianzhuang.
