They belong to ecologically released soft-shelled turtles. Their meat quality is similar to that of wild soft-shelled turtles, so they can sell for 400 yuan per kilogram." It is understood that as early as 2009, Wang Xiaoyao and four other villagers jointly founded the Kaihua selenium Fisheries Professional Cooperative, which transferred more than 300 mu in the mountainous area in Ma Houwu to engage in aquaculture. Due to poor management, the cooperative suffered serious losses, and four villagers withdrew their shares and left. Wang Xiaoyao was not reconciled and decided to continue to work alone. In early 2012, he built a Kaihua Xiaoyao family farm, moved bedding kitchen utensils to the farm, ate, lived and started a business with his wife. In that year, he borrowed 200000 yuan from local credit cooperatives to specialize in aquaculture. In order to ensure the quality of clear water fish, he planted 50 mu of ryegrass and Sudan grass as fish feed in the mountains. Then he bought 6000 juvenile soft-shelled turtles the size of an one-yuan coin from Zhoushan and put them in a large pond where clear-water fish were raised to grow and breed on their own. After five years of efforts, the big clear water fish has grown to more than 10 jin, and the big soft-shelled turtle has grown to 3 jin.

In 2016, Xiaoyao Family Farm borrowed another 230000 yuan from local credit cooperatives to increase the scale of fish and turtle breeding. at present, more than 10 tons of grass carp, crucian carp, Luoanqing and other clear water fish and 6 tons of soft-shelled turtles have been sold to Hangzhou and this county, with a total income of more than 800,000 yuan.
