The breed, size and growth skeleton of beef cattle are different, and the price is also different. There are Luxi yellow cattle, Charolais cattle, Limousin cattle, Charolais cattle, etc., with prices ranging from 2800 to 7000 per head, depending on the breed quality of the cattle.

The selection method of Beef cattle

1. Look at the oral cavity: the oral mucosa of healthy cattle is reddish, and the body temperature is normal without odor. The oral mucosa of diseased cattle is pale and drooling, or flushing, dry and astringent, with a foul smell.

2. Look at the tongue: healthy cow tongue is smooth, ruddy and retractable. The tongue of diseased cattle is inflexible, and the tongue coating is thick and rough, mostly yellow, white and brown.

3. Look at the eyes: healthy cattle have bright eyes, bright eyes, sensitive vision and quick reaction. The sick cow has no eyes and is slow to react.

4. Look at the nasal speculum: there are beads of sweat in the healthy bovine rhinoscope, which is evenly distributed. The nasal endoscope of the diseased cow is sweaty, dry and shelled, and even cracked in severe cases.

5. Look at the ears: healthy cows fan their ears flexibly, shake them from time to time, and touch their hands warmly. The head of the diseased cow lowers the earlobe, the ear does not shake, and the ear root is not cold or hot.

The main breeds of beef cattle

1. Simmental cattle: Simmental cattle originated in Switzerland, not purebred meat cattle, but milk and meat breeds. However, due to the high milk yield of Simmental cattle, the meat production performance is not worse than that of specialized beef cattle breeds, and the service performance is also very good. Simmental cattle is a large breed for both milk, meat and service use, with a faster growth rate and an average daily gain of more than 1.35-1.45 kg. The growth rate is similar to that of other large meat varieties, with more carcass meat, less fat and uniform distribution, and the slaughter rate of bulls can reach about 65% after fattening.

2. Charolais: Charolais is a world-famous large breed of beef cattle, originating from Charolais and Nivler in central and western France to the southeast of France. since it was bred, it has been widely welcomed by the international market because of its fast growth, large meat, large size and tolerance. It has long been exported to many countries in the world. Under good feeding conditions, the 6-month-old male calf can reach 250kg, the female calf 210kg, and the daily gain can reach 1400 grams.

3. Limousin cattle: Limousin cattle originated in Limousin Plateau in central France and got its name. In France, it is mainly distributed in the central and southern areas, second only to Charolais cattle. After being bred, it was imported to Europe and the United States in the early 1970s. Now it is distributed in many countries in the world and belongs to specialized large beef cattle breeds. In 1974 and 1993, Limousin cattle were introduced from France to improve local yellow cattle in Henan, Shandong, Inner Mongolia and other places.

4. Luxi yellow cattle: Luxi yellow cattle is famous for its large body drive, stable genetic performance, strong pulling force, resistance to rough feeding, suitable management, dry and elastic skin and dual use of meat. The body is tall, the forequarters are well developed, the muscles are well developed, the physique is strong, the structure is symmetrical, the adaptability is strong, the skin is thin, the meat yield is high, the meat is fresh and tender, and the fat is evenly distributed among the muscle fibers, forming an obvious marbling pattern. Known as "five flowers and three layers of meat", it is one of the famous beef breeds in the world.

5. Three-way hybrid cattle: the three-way hybrid cattle are mainly Silipen (Simmental * Limousin * local cattle), Xialiben (Charolais * Limousin * local cattle), Lixiben (Limousin * Simmental * local cattle), Limousin second generation (Limousin * Limousin * local cattle) and so on.
