Successful research and development of long-acting sustained-release metalaxyl granules
in ord to effectively control root rot of soybean in that whole growth period, Jiamusi branch of Heilongjiang Province academy of agricultural sciences has develope 5% sustained release metalaxyl granules in recent years. indoor hypha growth inhibition test and field control test were carried out against Phytophthora sojae and Fusarium sojae, the main pathogenic bacteria of soybean root rot. the results showed that it could effectively control root rot of soybean in the late growth period.
The researchers also pointed out that although the control effect of the agent is good, it should still be mixed or rotated with other agents with different mechanisms of action in future production to avoid or delay the emergence of resistance.
