On September 17, farmers threshed rice at the 100-mu yield test site of Chujing 37. On the same day, an expert group commissioned by the Ministry of Agriculture measured the yield of the new rice variety Chujing 37 in Shihuiba Village, Ke Jia Village, Jinshan Town, Lufeng County, Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Xie Huaan, head of the expert group, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and expert of Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, announced that the average yield per mu of the three randomly selected plots reached 995 kg. The field yield measurement of Chujing 37 has broken through the yield certification standard of "super rice" for three consecutive years.
