August Ulanqab ushered in the most beautiful season.

In the Xiuhua Villa, which covers an area of 1700 mu in Pingdiquan Town, Ulanqab Chayou Front Banner, the green grassland is covered with blue sky and white clouds. The furry Beijing oil chicken "walking" on the grassland adds some vitality to the grassland.

Recently, the on-site meeting of Beijing-Mongolia cooperation precision poverty alleviation project was held here. Beijing Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Service Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the "Alliance") supported Inner Mongolia Fengye Ecological Development Co., Ltd. to develop the laying hen breeding industry, integrated innovative resources such as enterprises and scientific research institutes to implement the "Beijing-Mongolia Cooperation Wulanchabu Laying hen Breeding Science and Technology Poverty Alleviation" project, and explored the precise poverty alleviation model of "science and technology + industry + e-commerce platform", which was praised by experts from Beijing and Mongolia.

"It's too hot now. Not many chickens come out. They will come out for a walk in the evening." Yang Xiuhua, general manager of the company, told Science and Technology Daily reporter.

Yang Xiuhua, in her early 50s, began breeding laying hens a few years ago. "Ulanqab has a tradition of raising chickens, but it has been interrupted for a while, and recently it has begun to develop rapidly." Yang Xiuhua said that before cooperating with scientific research units in Beijing, she mainly relied on experience in raising chickens. Although the benefits were also acceptable, she lacked standardized breeding and the scale did not go up.

In fact, farmers in Ulanqab generally lack understanding of the implementation of standardized farming. The excellent seed coverage rate of laying hen breeding industry here is low, the feeding management technology is backward, the management is poor, the industrial chain is short, and the economic and social benefits are limited.

The project aims to help Ulanqab build a standardized breeding base for laying hens, introduce high-quality laying hen varieties, and improve the coverage rate and feeding management level. "On the basis of Beijing oil chicken, experts brought us a new breed of 'Nongda No.3' grain-saving laying hens, providing special feed with high vitamin and amino acid content, and equipped with a special technical team." Yang Xiuhua said.

The Alliance organized four experts, including Liu Huagui, a researcher from Beijing Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences and Ning Zhonghua, a professor from China Agricultural University, to come to Ulanqab to hold chicken technology training classes and on-site training for farmers. Experts explained new varieties and technologies in detail by checking production records.

"Look at our chicken coops and chicken sheds on the grass for chickens to drink water and rest. They are all built according to standards. Experts have brought us technology and information, and helped us open up the market." Yang Xiuhua said happily that now the company's eggs, chicken has been sold to Beijing, Shanghai, Hohhot, Baotou and other cities.

The project selects 2 demonstration sites in Suji Village and Zhangrengou Village, Pingdiquan Town, Chayouqian Banner, Ulanqab City to breed "Nongda No.3" grain-saving laying hens, driving 25 professional large households and poor households, with an annual income of 8400 yuan per household; 2 demonstration sites in Shigucun and Baijiadi Village are selected to breed Beijing oil chickens, driving 40 professional large households and poor households, with an annual income of 8000 yuan per household.

"I'm much happier to be able to help so many people make money than I am to make money alone. Thanks to technology." Yang Xiuhua said frankly.

Also in Chayou Front Banner, an international first-class modern automatic French fries processing plant is particularly eye-catching. The reporter saw that several factories are under construction. This is an alliance enterprise Beijing Kaida Hengye Agricultural Technology Development Co., Ltd. invested 800 million yuan and Chayouqian Banner government cooperation construction.

Xue Xincui, director of the company's office, told Science and Technology Daily that this fully automatic French fry processing production line is in a leading position in China in terms of technology level, equipment intelligence and future development potential, and some technologies are at the world's leading level. After completion, the factory will drive more than 76,000 mu of raw materials to be planted and more than 5,000 poor households will be planted, with an average income increase of more than 48,000 yuan per household.

After the completion of the project, a total of 300 rural laborers will be arranged, with an average annual salary of 50,000 yuan per person, realizing an increase of 15 million yuan in rural employment population, which can greatly relieve the employment pressure in Ulanqab City and help poverty alleviation.

The alliance played a key role in enabling Beijing enterprises to set up French fries processing plants in Wulanchabu. The Alliance gives full play to the role and influence of various communication channels (websites and WeChat), builds a Beijing-Mongolia scientific and technological cooperation information platform that completes the exchange and communication of agriculture-related information, efficiently and quickly provides interactive information services for member units, promotes the effective docking of advantageous resources in the two places, and promotes Beijing-Mongolia cooperation to achieve new breakthroughs in precise poverty alleviation.
