Recently, the "JD.com Chestnut Commercial treatment Technology Development" project jointly undertaken by Hebei Liyuan Food Co., Ltd. and Hebei Meikeduo Food Co., Ltd. successfully completed various research and development contents, and successfully passed the expert acceptance organized by Tangshan Science and Technology Bureau, exploring a new way for the commercial development of JD.com Chinese chestnut.

The project "Development of Commercial treatment Technology of JD.com Chestnut" is a sub-subject of the project "Research and demonstration of key Technologies of Yanshan Chestnut industrialization". The project strives for 350000 yuan of science and technology funds in Tangshan. After 3 years of implementation, it has been baked at low temperature. The shell and meat of chestnut is completely removed by machine kneading, and the shelling rate of chestnut rice is more than 98%. The production of small packaging chestnut has been upgraded from a labor-intensive semi-automatic operation to a central integrated fully automated production line, with a daily production capacity of 10 to 15 tons to 30 to 40 tons. The level of technical equipment, quality control and commodity production capacity have been greatly improved.

In addition, through the study of the production technology of chestnut powder, the best formula of color protection solution, the best drying process and extrusion technology were determined through many analysis and tests such as solubility, expansibility and blending, and the best formula and production technology of ready-to-eat chestnut powder were developed. a demonstration production line of chestnut powder was established, which enriched the variety of chestnut deep processing products and provided scientific and technological support for the industrialization and commercialization of chestnut in the city.
