? On the morning of July 3, Master Zhou, a finless porpoise breeder, was feeding in the purse seine of Xijiang Finless Porpoise Rescue Center in Anqing City, Anhui Province. It is reported that in the middle of April last year, Anhui Province Anqing City fishery department in the Yangtze River Anqing section successfully rescued 5 finless porpoises injured due to stranding, transferred to Xijiang finless porpoise rescue center for rehabilitation treatment, a month later after experts on-site identification, finless porpoise rescue was successful.
Not long ago, the Yangtze finless porpoise, listed as a national key aquatic rare animal, was successfully domesticated and bred in Xijiang Finless Porpoise Rescue Center in Anqing City. The rescued finless porpoise successfully gave birth to a small finless porpoise at about 11 o 'clock on June 4 this year. At present, the finless porpoise is nursing normally and the mother and child are safe. It has become the first finless porpoise born naturally in the purse seine in China, and has been approved by experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
