Born in 1981, Lei Yingguo is a villager of Leifang Village, Fengcheng City, Jiangxi Province. at the beginning of this year, he was named as the country's "Top Ten Farmers" by the Ministry of Agriculture. In 2006, Lei Yingguo began to have the idea of scale operation. By August this year, the planting cooperative he founded had sold a total of 28800 tons of high-quality grain to the state.

By chance, Lei Yingguo saw a large area of farmland in Shandong Province carrying out large-scale management and mechanized farming. In the spring of 2006, he decided to be a new professional farmer and began to grow rice on a large scale. He rented 210 mu of medium-and low-yield fields in Longshan Village that year. After intensive cultivation, the yield per mu reached 900jin in the first season, with a maximum of 1400 jin. Over the course of a year, Lei Yingguo earned the first bucket of gold and tasted the joy of a bumper harvest.

The planting scale is still expanding. The area of paddy fields leased by Lei Yingguo expanded to 466 mu in 2007 and 1860 mu in 2008. In December of that year, the Ministry of Agriculture awarded him the title of national grain grower. In May 2009, Lei Yingguo organized 61 large grain growers in surrounding townships and set up the largest local farmer planting cooperative, Xiushi Jiahe planting Cooperative, and served as its director. Since then, he has created a number of firsts in Fengcheng.

The first to hire a farm plane to spray pesticides. In July 2009, Lei Yingguo organized and established the only systematic professional aircraft defense service team in Fengcheng City to exercise unified defense rule. Up to now, the service team has saved more than 900,000 yuan in pest control costs for cooperative members and increased grain yield by more than 60 jin per mu. Driven by demonstration, Fengcheng has introduced 25 sets (sets) of large-scale modern spraying equipment this year, which are used in more than 500,000 mu of rice fields.

The first one is to raise seedlings in a factory way. In March 2011, he raised 150000 yuan, built 22 rice seedling sheds and purchased 5 sets of seedling raising machinery and equipment. Driven by new technologies such as factory seedling raising, the income of more than 700 mu of mechanized transplanting fields planted by cooperatives in that year increased by an average of 5%. At present, 25 peasant households have signed service agreements with them for sowing, raising seedlings and mechanical transplanting.

The first one uses rice baking technology. In the past, drying the rice on the highway was both dangerous and easy to be mixed with sand and gravel, especially in the case of sudden heavy rain, the rice was washed away by Rain Water, causing losses. In 2012, Lei Yingguo built a large granary and bought four dryers to directly dry the rice into the warehouse.

Lei Yingguo's cooperative led more than 620 farmers to carry out scientific planting, providing 4050 jobs, and the annual per capita income of more than 120 farmers increased by nearly 3000 yuan. The cooperative has also implemented the unified purchase and marketing of grain and agricultural materials and unified provision of technical services, leading the villagers to embark on the development road of industrialization.
