Leng Zhi Zhi who is enthusiastic about getting rid of poverty (poverty alleviation notes)

Leng Juzhen, first Secretary of Xiaonanhe Village, Xilinzi Xiang, Raohe County, Heilongjiang Province

I was stationed in Xiaonanhe Village, Xilinzi Township, Raohe County as the first secretary a year ago. Xiaonanhe Village is notoriously poor: the land is thin and can only grow dry fields, the crop growth period is short, the harvest is poor, and the villagers are closed-minded and like to drink and play cards. After I came here, I used the local resources to develop the economy and tried to get the local villagers to lay down their wine bowls and get rich together.

Female cadres in the city become "strong girls"

I grew up in the city and got used to the comfortable and convenient life in the city. After entering the village, everything here dumbfounded me: there were wolf dogs taller than children in front of every house, and whenever I passed by, they would yell at me ferociously; there was no bathroom in the house, so I had to go to the toilet to go outside in the open air; there were muddy dirt roads everywhere, white shoes went out for a walk, and they would turn black when they came back. The villagers also saw that I was not used to it. When I first came here, they even muttered to my face, "can a female cadre stay in the countryside?" "from the city, can you understand our situation here?"

If you come, you will do a good job. I calm down and look for all kinds of opportunities to "hook up" with the villagers. When the villagers work in the fields, I help them, and I often talk to the villagers to find a common language. There is a villager who likes to sing a different tune, often tells others that I am incompetent, that I "come to Huo 'Xiaonanhe". I think if you want to break through, you have to eat hard bones. I often go to his house to help him clean the gutter and scrub the windowsill. Later, he came out to work with me, but also said to me sheepishly: "Secretary Leng, I was wrong, should not say that about you, in the future, we will listen to you." Slowly, the villagers began to accept me.

? If there is no living in the village, you have to create a living.

Speaking of Xiaonanhe, in addition to poverty, there is another famous, that is wine. Many people in Xiaonanhe have two vats, one for water and one for wine. The villagers drink wine every time, and they drink with cups, and here the villagers drink with bowls. I asked them why they liked to drink. The villagers said, "I don't make a living. I don't drink. What are you doing idle?"

I think to change the deep-rooted thinking of the villagers depends on a successful demonstration. So I chose several party leaders and led them to the villagers' homes to do work from door to door, asking everyone to put down their wine bowls and get rich together. There were few responders at first, and I was advised, "these people can't hold on to the wall, so don't take them." But I firmly believe, "if you want to do it, the whole village will do it together!"

To change poverty, you must first give up drinking. If you don't make a living, you create a living. Before entering the village, I carefully combed the local conditions and poverty reasons of the Xiaonan River. I felt that the ecological resources of the Xiaonan River were very unique. There are a mountain (Dadingzi Mountain in the boat song of Wusuli), a temple (Miaoyin Temple, the most eastern temple in China), two rivers (Xiaoan River and Bei'an River), one River (12 kilometers away from the Wusuli River and four rows of Hezhe) In the village, there are still a number of wooden corrugated old houses with obvious characteristics of Kanto in the 1930s and 1940s.

I love photography and see business opportunities from local resources from the perspective of photographers. So, using my own photography resources, I began to build a farm photography tourism base based on Dadingzi Mountain Scenic area, relying on Raohe Damei Wetland and featuring Xiaonan River's unique folk resources.

? Xiaonanhe didn't get rich, so he didn't even kick me out.

I chose two older streets and several representative old woodcut houses in the south of the village as the prototype of the base. In order to guide the people to participate actively, at the beginning of the start of the base, I purchased antique flower cloth, New year pictures, window grilles and other decorations, as well as nearly 500 red lanterns to give to the people along the street, setting off the distinctive atmosphere of the farmhouse.

In just one and a half months, we initially built a service chain integrating "food, housing, travel, entertainment, and shopping", organized 103 villagers to set up farm tourism associations, and party members took the lead in developing 16 "farm music". To create seven traditional craft family workshops such as Kanto folk houses, old tofu houses and old wineries, and designed folk play projects such as "Open farming Festival" and "Yangko New year".

At present, the village has received a total of more than 5000 tourists from inside and outside the province, and the operating income of farm music and the sales income of local products have reached more than 200,000 yuan. We have organized party members and backbone members of the association to work out assistance measures door to door with package support units to help 42 poor villagers get rid of poverty.

My term of office is two years, and many villagers and business owners ask me, "as soon as the two years arrive, you leave and the project is not finished." I replied, "as long as the little south river needs me for a day, I will work here for a day. If the little south river doesn't get rich, you won't get rid of me."
