Zhang Xiucun was originally a senior economist of Shandong Airlines Group. After the Spring Festival in 2013, he was assigned to Dongshuiyu Village, Shancheng Street, Shanting District, Zaozhuang City, as the first secretary. Two years later, the villagers of Nanwa Village next door all knew that Dongshuiyu Village built new roads and new houses, and the days became more and more prosperous. Therefore, Nanwa village branch Xu Wenhe can not sit still.

Party building took the lead and set up a demonstration party branch

"There are senior activity centers, senior rest rooms, village committees, and conference rooms. Opposite is the welfare supermarket, villagers can get free grain, oil and rice noodles. There is also a stage between the two buildings." Standing on the slope on one side of the main road of Nanwa Village, Zhang Xiucun pointed to a two-story brick house under construction and gestured to reporters. He already had the rudiment of the village comprehensive service center in his heart.

But when he first entered the village, Zhang Xiucun had been poured cold. He admitted that the first village branch meeting, less than five minutes, there are old party members fell asleep.

At that time, there were 36 party members in Nanwa Village, with an average age of 61.7 years old. Xu Wenhe Primary School, the branch of the village, had not graduated... The older party members, lower education, weak ability and lax organization became the biggest obstacles restricting Nanwa Village from getting rid of poverty and becoming rich.

"If we can't change the poor and backward appearance of the village, why should the common people believe in the village leadership?" Zhang Xiucun felt that efforts should be made to "reorganize" the village two committees.

First of all, he made three rules for himself: not to eat a meal from the masses, not to cause trouble to the masses, and not to reimburse a penny in the village. Then began to "reorganize" the two committees of the village: hold meetings every day, establish a duty system, develop capable young people into the party into the village committee... organization and construction became the routine work of the village. At present, Nanwa Village Party Branch has become a municipal party construction demonstration village.

With a team, Zhang Xiucun has a bottom in his work. He led village cadres to visit households and customized poverty alleviation programs for poor households. With the industrial support fund of 300,000 yuan in the province, 400 sheep were purchased to help 67 poor households develop breeding; 60 households were guided to work for employment; 38 poor households without labor capacity were resettled for many years, without omission...

Hawthorn heaven, built a rich and good industry

Nanwa Village lives near mountains, with many barren hills and little cultivated land. Villagers mainly plant hawthorn, but the price is low, there is no market, and it is not easy to store. If hawthorn is rotten, it can only be dumped, which makes people feel distressed.

"Isn't it enough to make hawthorn sticks?" Zhang Xiucun, familiar with aviation business, immediately thought of aviation catering, let hawthorn fly into the sky! He calculated this account clearly. The best way to increase the price of agricultural products is to extend the industrial chain. With the help of Shanhang, Zhang Xiucun raised 2 million yuan to establish Zaozhuang City Nanling Aviation Food Co., Ltd. Nanwa Village's small hawthorn boarded a big plane and flew to all parts of the world. Today, the village's processing plant produces 5000 bags of hawthorn sticks a day.

This was not the end. Zhang Xiucun started thinking about the hawthorn packaging bag again. During that time, he went to advertising companies every day to learn advertising business and design his own packaging. After commercial negotiations, Taierzhuang ancient city, hospitality Shandong and other advertising jumped on the wrapping paper.

After calculation, hawthorn purchase price 0.45 yuan per catty, processing 1 catty of preserved fruit materials 3.5 catties, preserved fruit sold to 20 yuan per catty, plus advertising revenue 8.33 yuan per catty, direct income 28.33 yuan, added value suddenly increased nearly 20 times! Nanwa Village can steadily increase income of 1.14 million yuan every year.

Villagers approve and form a long-term true friendship

"It's better you never go, we all agree!" Wang Xuejin, 84, didn't expect that Nanwa Village, where he had lived all his life, could still have such a big change.

"Rural work is the most concrete, and the peasant masses are the most practical." Zhang Xiucun said, which is for the common people to do practical things, which is "face project", the common people know best.

On his fifth day in the village, the village ended its history of no street lamps. Zhang Xiucun also contacted the public security department to set up a guard room in the village and installed 18 monitoring equipment, greatly improving the public security situation.

How can you imagine that these are just the beginning of a big change in the village. Hardening roads, drilling wells, building bridges across rivers, cleaning up three piles and five piles... It has been almost two years, and Nanwa Village is changing every day.

In 2013, Dongshuiyu Village was difficult to drink water. Zhang Xiucun himself led village cadres to do blasting and dig pools, built more than 20,000 cubic meters of water reservoir, solved the irrigation problem of more than 500 mu of land, but he added a disability certificate: Zhang Xiucun fell from a platform more than 5 meters high when measuring the pool, traumatic synovitis and meniscus injury in his right leg, and was identified as Grade IV disability.

Originally a one-year resident secretary, he stayed for four years. Now, the common people he stationed in the village have recognized Zhang Xiucun as the first secretary.
