■ the old man Zhang Guipu is talking about building planning.

"I can't even imagine living in a building. Even if I work all my life, I can't earn enough money to buy a building, but now someone gives it to us for nothing!" In front of a building under construction in Dingzhuangzi Village, Mengcun Hui Autonomous County, Cangzhou, villagers gathered and talked. This is a house funded by Zhang Guipu and specially built for poor families, which will be given free of charge when it is completed. The building under construction consists of seven floors and two units, which can accommodate 28 villagers when completed.

"I have a house in this building, and now I have to take a look at it every day to see the progress. I really want to move in as soon as possible!" Liu Junmeng, a villager of Dingzhuangzi, told the reporter happily that he dared not think that he would still be able to live in a building because he had only been troubled by the children all his life. He used to have four bungalows in the village, which always leaked when it rained, which could not protect him from the wind and rain at all. There are still many villagers like Liu Junmeng living in Dingzhuangzi Village, and now they have basically been demolished.

Villager Ding Li told reporters that the construction of the building started in September this year, and the villagers were very moved and supported, and the demolition was very smooth. By now, Zhang Guipu has invested millions of dollars, not only to build buildings for poor families, but also to build many roads in the village.

"I have made a lot of money over the years, but I do not want to leave this money to my children and grandchildren. I should give them a spirit and let them work hard on their own. Now I want to repay the villagers, watching them live in poverty, I feel very uncomfortable. " Zhang Guipu said. He wants to make life easier for all the poor families in the village to live in clean and spacious buildings. Now, the first building built by Zhang Guipu for poor families will soon be capped, and the villagers are looking forward to moving in as soon as possible.

"I am 63 years old. I have been influenced by my grandparents all my life. I must uphold a kind heart and help others. Now, I will continue to pass on the family style of helping others and set an example for future generations. " Zhang Guipu said. In Zhang Guipu's memory, his father and grandfather spent all their lives helping others, even though they were not too rich at that time. He told reporters that there was once an old man named Ma Ye in the village who dug a cellar with his wife to live in the village. At that time, Zhang Guipu's father often helped Ma Ye and his wife. When Ma Ye died in 1959, Zhang Guipu's father sent Ma Ye's wife to live at home and take care of him. Zhang Guipu said that in that year, he was not yet ten years old, which left a deep impression on him.

"I feel sorry for the poor." Zhang Guipu said that this is what his father said to him most often. In October 1972, Zhang Guipu worked in Mengcun fuel Company. "I gave my colleague Xu Xiufeng the first overalls I sent after work." Zhang Guipu said that Xu Xiufeng was from Zhangguandian village. At that time, there were several children in the family. The family conditions were very poor, and they were all dressed in rags. A new young man gave himself clothes, which Xu Xiufeng felt incredible at that time.

"'feel sorry for the poor and take pleasure in helping others.' this is the family style of our family, and we must pass it on." Zhang Guipu said that now the children are very filial and very supportive of his building charity, which makes Zhang Guipu very pleased. (reporter Yu Haining)
