Fan Haiting, a 70-year-old Communist Party member in Dongye Village, Pingshan Town, Pingshan County, personally established the Oriental Giant Turtle Garden tourist area in 1997 to drive the villagers to become rich and well-off. On July 19, a rainstorm caused unprecedented damage to the Oriental Giant Turtle Garden scenic spot, in which Ledao, a large-scale water entertainment base in the scenic area, was changed beyond recognition after it was hit by the flood. On August 2, the reporter walked into the Oriental Giant Turtle Garden Scenic spot and saw that the construction work in the scenic area was being carried out in an orderly manner.

There are more than 100000 poplar trees with an average diameter of more than one foot planted in Yehe for 20 years, with less than 1/10 left; skiing, rafting, water skiing and other tourism infrastructure and equipment have all been destroyed; more than 3000 meters of tourist roads connecting scenic spots have been destroyed. The sudden torrential rain brought serious losses to the Oriental Giant Turtle Garden, and almost no original appearance was seen.

Production helps itself through weal and woe.

On the 20th, employees came one after another to see the situation in front of them, and some of them had tears in their eyes. Soon, under the leadership of Fan Haiting, everyone moved quickly to clean up the mud and help with the reconstruction. "in the past, the area of Ledao has always been reluctant to change, but now there is a chance to clean it up first and then redesign it, and the newly built Ledao will take it to a higher level." In the face of the current situation, Fan Haiting always maintains an optimistic attitude.

Twenty years of painstaking efforts washed away all the entertainment and infrastructure of "Le Dao" overnight. Fan Haiting led hundreds of employees to fight continuously, fighting on the front line of production and self-rescue, relying on their own efforts and overcoming difficulties. He persisted in directing construction at the scene every day, and was known as the "tumbler" in front of the flood, and the employees advised him to pay attention to his health.

Sun Haiwen, a villager in his sixties, had more than 2 mu of crops destroyed by the flood. after hearing that the scenic spot created by Fan Haiting was hit by the disaster, he could not take care of his own farmland, so he volunteered to help. Like Sun Haiwen, the more than 100 people who engage in production and self-help in the scenic spot every day are either affected by the disaster or the poor economic conditions of the village. At present, the cash flow of the scenic spot is difficult, and Fan Haiting also insists on not allowing the villagers to help voluntarily, smiling and encouraging Sun Hai-wen to say, "if you pay for your labor every day, don't delay your own disaster relief, and don't cause trouble to the party and the government!"
