On May 20, the sun was burning. After the car left Simalin Town and bumped on the country road for half an hour, we came to the construction site of the modern homing pigeon farm of Qingxiang Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd., Wanquan District, Zhangjiakou. Zhao Kaiming, the manager, is working with the construction staff on the construction front.
Zhao Kaiming, 31, is a native of Shenjingbao Village, Kongjiazhuang Town, Wanquan District. In 2004, after graduating from the Municipal Vocational Education Center, he began to study and repair cars in Kongjiazhuang Town. Because he was smart and studious, he went out as an apprentice a year later and opened an auto repair shop as a manager, mainly engaged in tire management, paint, sheet metal and other business.
Due to honest management, superb technology, and the right price, there is an endless stream of customers coming to the stall to repair cars, and the business is booming.
"I am still young, so going outside will be good for my future development. In 2007, with this idea in mind, Zhao Kaiming went to Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous region alone, driving a car in a coal yard with a monthly salary of 1200 yuan.
In 2009, Zhao Kaiming went to Baotou City to build a coal yard with a total investment of 8 million yuan, mainly to sell industrial coal. At that time, the coal yard made a lot of money, with little investment and large profits. Coal was sold to all parts of the country. Four years later, it earned more than 1 million yuan. In 2013, the state protected the environment and closed a large number of roadside coal yards, as did Zhao Kaiming's coal yard.
After drifting abroad for several years, he was attracted by the prospect of economic development in his hometown.
In October 2013, he returned to Wanquan from Baotou and resumed his old business, opening a car repair shop in the town of Simalin.
