Qian'an "Goose Commander" Ma Yinming

The geese are exalted, chasing and playing, feathering and singing, just like the white clouds flowing in the sky, which is spectacular. More than 100 people, including leaders of industry associations, experts of research institutions and bosses of industrial enterprises, who attended the first and second meeting of China Goose Industry Development Federation, visited the breeding farm of Zhengnong Goose breeding Cooperative in Qian'an City. The clean and tidy goose house, unique breeding methods, scientific and fine management, integrated production, supply and marketing operation were unanimously praised by the participants.

However, who would have thought that Ma Yinming, the founder of the cooperative and known as the "goose farmer", was a "mine boss" ten years ago. It was when the iron mining industry was in its heyday that he heightened his vigilance and resolutely transformed. After going through the wind and rain and cutting through difficulties, he walked out of an ecological cycle of aquaculture, driving the people on one side to become rich and injecting new vitality into the local economic development.

Difficult transition: hatching goslings on the big Kang

Anyone familiar with Ma Yinming knows that he likes to do things, is thoughtful, is willing to bear hardships, and is stubborn not to admit defeat.

"Ten years ago, when iron ore was booming, it could be said that even lying down and sleeping made money!" Ma Yinming told reporters. However, behind this prosperity, Ma Yinming keenly saw the "prosperous crisis": although mining is very profitable, on the day when mineral resources will eventually be exhausted, what industry will have the potential for development and will never dry up? "at that time, the state was calling for returning farmland to forests. After careful consideration, I thought that aquaculture should have a bright future."

Just do it! After some preparation, Ma Yinming's goose farm officially opened in September 2007. "at that time, only five households bought shares, with a total investment of 400000 yuan, and contracted hundreds of mu of forest land and inefficient sand sloping land in the village." Ma Yinming said.

At the beginning, the development of the goose farm went well with the wind and water. Ma Yinming combined farming with farming under the forest, and the scale expanded rapidly. However, the market is like a battlefield, and the market is rapidly changing. In 2008, the financial crisis began, when the bid price of Cheng goose fell below the purchase price of goslings. Sell it and lose money; if you don't sell it, the feed money alone will cost tens of thousands of yuan a day. Ma Yinming dropped the number of breeders again and again, and by the end of 2009, there were only 1000 breeding geese left, losing more than 4 million yuan in more than a year, almost losing all his family wealth.

At this time, relatives and friends began to persuade him to return to his old profession and not to suffer in an industry he was not familiar with. However, Ma Yinming, who will never admit defeat, has a stubborn temper: what I am sure of will never give up halfway! To this end, Ma Yinming once again went to other places to inspect and study, and carefully summarized and analyzed. He found that despite the ups and downs of the market, the price of goslings has always been good, and hatching is sure to make money.

However, Ma Yinming could not come up with any more money at that time. "I used the native method to hatch the goslings on the big Kang and manually control the temperature and humidity." Ma Yinming recalls that after hard groping, he succeeded. Then he bought the parts of the incubator and "saved" two incubators himself. Due to the accurate grasp of the market, Ma Yinming slowly walked out of the predicament. In 2010, the farm made a profit, and in 2011 it was a turnaround.

Caring for the villagers: creating tens of millions of profits for farmers

Ma Yinming is a native of Yang Tuanbao Village, Qian'an Town, Qian'an City. He is always full of nostalgia for his hometown and full of feelings for his fellow villagers. After his career was on the right track, Ma Yiming began to consider leading more people on the road to becoming rich. To this end, he began to engage in cooperative management to attract local people to enter the goose industry.

It is reported that at present, the number of members of the farmer-goose cooperative has reached 241, with a total investment of more than 2000 million yuan, and more than 700 mu of land transferred, which integrates incubation, breeding, breeding, feed supply and deep processing of goose products, and has become a leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization. In 2015, the cooperative kept 100000 goose breeders, which is the largest goose breeding enterprise in northern China, creating tens of millions of profits for farmers. This "company + peasant household" production and management model has really led the masses on one side to become rich.

Relatives and friends who know Ma Yinming all say that he is "stupid" and that he can't take care of his own days, and he always thinks about his fellow villagers. At any time, Ma Yinming is always grateful and tries his best to help those around him who are in need. "I have such a bad temper. I have to raise geese all my life, and I have to do good deeds all my life! In my opinion, everyone should live out their own life value in this life. I want to make more villagers rich through my own efforts, because our industry can really help a lot of people, and I want to help more people because of my change.

Teng Zhimin, an old partner of Ma Yinming's professional cooperative for farming and goose breeding, recalled in an interview: "for many years, Ma Yiming used money to support families in the village who were living in difficulties. When the village appealed for donations, he always took the lead to lend a helping hand. The road around the village was also actively built by Ma Yinming out of his own pocket, making it convenient for the villagers passing through it."

Honest management: work with heart and be fruitful.

Ma Yinming is a "goose commander" who pays attention to learning. every winter leisure, he invites a doctor from China Agricultural University and experts in the field of animal husbandry inside and outside the province to train dozens of cooperative farmers on goose raising skills free of charge, so as to constantly improve the breeding skills of their members and increase farmers' income.

Work attentively and operate in good faith. It is with this "silly" spirit that Ma Yinming leads his professional cooperatives of farming geese and geese to get more and more recognition. Ma Yiming was named the Star of Youth Entrepreneurship by the Qianan League Municipal Committee in 2009, the advanced production worker in Qianan City in 2010 and 2011, and the excellent Youth Fashion figure by the Qian'an Municipal Government in 2012. The cooperative was appraised as "Qian'an Agricultural Professional Cooperative demonstration Society" in 2012, "key leading Enterprise of Agricultural industrialization Management in Tangshan City" from 2013 to 2014, "Top Ten" Enterprises in Hebei Province by Hebei Animal Husbandry Association from 2013 to 2015, and "National 3.15 Consumer recognized Cooperative" by China quality Integrity Enterprise Association, China Brand value Evaluation Center and Hebei quality Integrity Supervision Commission in 2014. In 2011, the goose products of the cooperative were certified as organic products by Beijing Zhongan quality Ring Certification Center.
