Yang Jun, chairman of Jiatian vegetable Farmers' Professional Cooperative in Shangyi County, talked about his vegetable career with the reporter. Since the establishment of the cooperative in 2008, there are 200 vegetable greenhouses and 108 farmers, which are operated in the base mode and sold uniformly.

After graduating from university in 1992, Yang Jun has been working abroad. In 1998, he returned to Qili Township and took up a job as a vegetable broker. With his frequent contact with vegetables and his understanding of the vegetable market, Yang Jun, who had accumulated a lot of experience, came up with the idea of setting up a cooperative.

Most of the 108 households joined the cooperatives in the form of land transfer, while some farmers invested in technology.

"the establishment of cooperatives can lead more farmers to shake off poverty and become rich. now farmers can rent to earn rent, work to earn salary, and buy shares to earn stock money." Yang Jun said: at present, the main vegetables produced by the cooperative are lettuce, radish, kale, broccoli, cauliflower and so on.

In the face of vegetable cultivation, Yang Jun has his own tricks. "Last year, growing vegetables was the least profitable, but this year it was the most profitable. People say that I am going in the opposite direction, but I think this is precisely the right path." This is the experience Yang Jun summed up after many years of planting.

Yang Jun believes that when growing vegetables, we should understand the market situation, and remember not to blindly follow the trend. Before growing vegetables, we must find out the market situation. After research, he found that most farmers are blindly following the market price. What vegetables sold well last year, what is planted this year is more, resulting in an imbalance between supply and demand in the market. It is precisely by understanding such a relationship between supply and demand that Yang Jun can see the market business opportunities.

It is understood that the vegetable market situation was very good last year, so Yang Jun predicted that the market would decline this year. In the face of the current situation, Yang Jun decided to implement a conservative strategy and choose to plant 700 mu of sunflower and green corn.

Good quality should also be "yelled" frequently.

"it's not enough to rely on accumulated experience. We have to grow vegetables to produce benefits, and we have to be able to sell them." Yang Jun said.

"the quality of products is the key to the best-selling vegetables. If the quality is good, you can make money by growing anything." Yang Jun said: the vegetables grown by the cooperative do not apply chemical fertilizers, all use biological bacterial fertilizers, no pesticides, all use physical pest control to prevent diseases and insect pests, and the use of sticky insect boards and trematode lamps mainly eliminate adults and reduce young eggs at the same time. Ensure that the vegetables produced meet the standard of pollution-free, so that ordinary people can eat safely and safely.

Not afraid of not knowing the goods, just afraid of comparing the goods. In order to broaden the sales channels, Yang Jun carried out order agriculture and first thought of "agricultural super docking." at present, the cooperative has signed contracts with Beijing supermarket, Huaguan supermarket, Shouhang supermarket, Huapu supermarket, and Xinfadi vegetable Wholesale Market. Last year, it provided 4.5 thousand tons of vegetables to Shangchao, and this year it has added a new cooperation with a catering enterprise in Beijing. At the same time, vegetables are also exported to South Korea and Russia, and 200 mu of lettuce and 200 mu of radish will be planted and exported to South Korea this year.

"Nong Chao docking standards are very strict, so our dishes are in line with national standards, vegetables are neat green vegetables, that is to say, every vegetable is under supervision." Yang Jun said.

"since the establishment of the cooperative, the vegetables produced can also be regarded as adding luster to agriculture in Qijia Township, Shangyi County." Yang Jun said. In recent years, their cooperative has won the titles of "Top Ten Cooperatives in China in 2010" and "National Model Cooperative in 2014". Yang Jun has also received a lot of honors. He has been awarded as "Advanced worker of Agriculture, Countryside and Farmers of Hebei Province in 2015", "Labor Model of Hebei Province in 2013" and "Model worker of Hebei Province returning to his hometown to start a business"....

Yang Jun's efforts have not only won many honorary titles, but also the recognition and support of farmers.
