In 2012, Lu Jingxiu established a Jingxiu breeding professional cooperative in the new local village of Ying'an Town, Hunchun City, with a construction of 8000 square meters of pig houses, 4000 square meters of processing workshops and warehouses. Cooperatives are responsible for imparting breeding techniques and opening up sales channels, and organize the centralized procurement of all kinds of production materials needed for pig farming. Lu Jingxiu said: "since the establishment of the cooperative, I have tried my best to recruit poor villagers to work in the cooperative. Last year, their average net wage income reached 24000 yuan, several times higher than the income from farming." This year, the cooperative plans to further expand the scale of pig farming, with the support of the Hunchun municipal government, the cooperative pig farming investment is expected to exceed 1.2 million yuan in 2017.
