The strawberry in the picture is white in color. Maybe you think it is not ripe yet, then you are wrong. In fact, it has been ripe, and eat particularly sweet, but the color and we usually eat red strawberries different, it also has a nice name called "peach white strawberry." It is this new variety of strawberries that make Jia Jiandong, a post-90s college entrepreneur, more confident in his entrepreneurship.

Jia Jiandong is a college student who came to Genbao Village, Jinhe Town, SaiHan District from Qingshuihe County of Hohhot City to start a business. In 2014, after graduating from Inner Mongolia Agricultural University majoring in facility agricultural science and engineering, he embarked on the road of entrepreneurship with the help of school teachers and the policy support of SaiHan District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.

In the greenhouse rented free of charge in Genbao Village, Jia Jiandong planted out-of-season strawberries and cantaloupes in his first year. Due to lack of practical experience, he lost his money. The following year, despite the guidance of technicians from Genburg, strawberries were planted with little success because of lack of marketing channels. This year is his third year of entrepreneurship, with the experience of the first two years, this year, Jia Jiandong introduced four varieties from Dandong: Hongyan, Lasong No.6, Saga Qingxiang and Peach White Strawberry. Especially peach white strawberry juice is full, sweet and delicious, tastes like peach, and is very popular as soon as it is listed.

"Since starting my business in 2014, I have invested 150,000 yuan, and I have insufficient experience in the first two years. The good news is that the strawberries are growing very well this year. If we can open up a market, we expect that the income will be good." Jia Jiandong said he plans to continue growing strawberries in the future, introducing new varieties and working hard on packaging.
