"my chicken farm can raise three phases of chickens a year, each with about 5000 chickens, and can make a net profit of more than 50, 000 yuan a year." At the chicken farm of Yi Jiaqin, a villager in Balitan Village, Hefengqiao Township, Shangcheng County, Yi Jiaqin was overjoyed when he talked about the income of his own chicken farm. "my family can take off the 'poor hat' so quickly. I have to sincerely thank the Happy Ecological breeding Co-operative for its help!"

Yi Jiaqin used to be a famous poor household in the village. She used to have a happy family, but she lost her beloved husband in an accident eight years ago. The pillar of the family suddenly fell down, and the life of a family with two young sons and a daughter who had lost their main source of income was suddenly in a difficult position. Three years ago, with the help of the Happy Ecological farming Cooperative, Yi Jiaqin borrowed 50,000 yuan to build a medium-sized chicken farm. Since then, the life of the whole family has gradually improved. Last year, a two-story building of 240 square meters was built, which completely got rid of poverty.

The Happy Ecological breeding Cooperative in Shangcheng County, in Yijiaqin mouth, was established in 2012, located in Balitan Village, Hefengqiao Township, covering an area of 370mu. It is a large-scale comprehensive chicken farm integrating hatching, brooding and breeding. More than 60, 000 chickens are hatched every month. At present, 27 large and medium-sized ecological chicken farms and 7 chicken farms have been established in various villages and towns in the county, providing 280000 chickens a year. It will drive more than 700 poor households in 20 poor villages in 19 townships throughout the county to increase their income and become rich.

"the cooperative provides poor households with arrears to adopt high-quality chicks. Last year alone, more than 100 poor households in Balitan Village owed money to adopt more than 40,000 high-quality chicks, with an average income of more than 3000 yuan that year." Hu Pengfei, chairman of the cooperative, said that the cooperative is uniformly recycled into chickens, allowing farmers to sell "zero risk." Through free training in aquaculture techniques, a number of large-scale and high-benefit poor demonstration households have been cultivated. It also leads poor families to work together through typical guidance and demonstration, which has the practical effect of "lighting a lamp and illuminating a large area".

"the cooperative plans to build 100 ecological farms in poverty-stricken villages throughout the county from 2017 to 2020, raising 500000 native chickens a year, with a net income of 10 million yuan, leading 1000 poor households to lift themselves out of poverty and increase their income, thus making new contributions to poverty alleviation." Hu Pengfei is full of confidence for future development.
