In March, the grass grows and the warbler flies, and the Loach is fat and beautiful. On the morning of March 9, Wang Tao, a farmer from Xiwang Village, Shuikou Town, Laian County, held in his hands the bouncing and foaming Loach that had just been fished from his home pond, and his face blossomed with joy. "Don't look at this little Loach. These days I can catch 3000 jin a day and sell it for 40,000 yuan!" Hundreds of Misgurnus anguillicaudatus kept tossing in the large plastic basin, as if they were jumping and celebrating for the bumper harvest.

Wang Tao, who is less than 30 years old, is already a well-known rich expert in the town. In 2009, after Wang Tao, who had just reached the age of 20, retired from the army and returned home, he was determined to break out of the small mountain village and make a breakthrough in the metropolis of Shanghai. In 2014, Wang Tao, whose mobile phone business was in full swing, accidentally met a Taiwanese engaged in Loach farming. In the exchange, the Loach, known as "ginseng in the water", was deeply attracted by Wang Tao because of its high nutritional value and broad market prospects. with the help of this dignitary, Wang Tao went to the Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences to specialize in Loach farming. In 2015, after six years of hard work in Shanghai, Wang Tao, with the "first bucket of gold" dug up in his life, returned to his hometown of Shuikou Town in Lai'an without hesitation and opened the way to start a business.

Embark on the entrepreneurial road, any difficulty can not be stopped. At first, the family did not agree: "I have already earned millions of yuan outside, which is enough for a lifetime, so why bother?" Wang Tao doesn't think so. "I'm still young. I still need to continue to struggle. I can't just sit back and live a lifetime." In his view, struggle is the most dazzling background of youth. However, it is not realistic to raise Loach in Xiwang Village. There is no large area of pond in the village, only a small hill. "Yu Gong can still move mountains, why can't I dig hills to build ponds?" In this way, Wang Tao used an excavator to turn the hill into a pond with a tenacity and effort that would not give up until he reached the Yellow River. The ground is dug, the road is paved, the office is built, the wires and cables are set up. After the completion of the infrastructure, Chuzhou Qiaozhiyuan Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd., registered by Wang Tao, was also officially listed, and the Loach seedlings hatched in the greenhouse began to be sprinkled into various mud ponds.

Where there's a will, there's a way. "over the course of a year, the contracted 300 mu pond can produce more than 200,000 jin of Loach, at a rate of more than NT $10 per catty. Excluding land rent, personnel expenses, and breeding costs, the annual net income can reach NT $600,000 to NT $700,000." Wang Tao introduced with delight.

Never forget your neighbors when you get rich. Back to the village for nearly two years, Wang Tao led more than 20 villagers in Xiwang Village to join, providing villagers with one-stop breeding services such as Loach seedlings, breeding technology, breeding maintenance, sales channels and so on. Led by him, he also set up an ecological farming farm, which attracted farmers from other villages to investigate spontaneously and join the breeding team voluntarily. Fu Xing, a villager of Huangnigang Town, Nanfei District, told the reporter excitedly: "I just provide ponds and buy Loach seedlings, and I don't have to worry about anything else. Wang Tao gives me unified technical guidance and unified sales and distribution for me. This year I'm going to build a 20-mu pond and follow Wang Tao! " As a young member of the Communist Party, Wang Tao said: "as long as we have the right way of thinking and diligent people, we can still show our skills and make great achievements in starting a business in rural areas, and as long as we stick to it, we will certainly be able to lift our fellow villagers out of poverty and make their lives more beautiful."
