Guo Lian, a "swineherd" who helps women get rich and take off poor hats, under the inspiration of the spirit of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation", countless young people with knowledge, technology and ability actively participate in the entrepreneurial boom. Let Haidong become a fertile ground for young people to carry out their ambitions. Entrepreneurship is not only a person's choice, but also a person's ideal. There are a variety of reasons to start a business: make money, change your life, dream, improve yourself. No matter what the original intention of starting a business is, it is necessary to understand what it takes to start a business.

An idea to return to the countryside

Today we are going to tell the story of Guo Lian, a female swineherd in Wanzi Village, Sanhe Town, Haidong City. It took her 10 years to turn study into a habit and pig farming into a career, regaining the confidence of the villagers in Wanzi Village, Sanhe Town, to grow rich by raising pigs, leading women in other villages to develop the breeding industry, and driving women to become rich through science and technology. Guo Lian has made a gorgeous turn from the sales industry to the aquaculture industry.

Wanzi Village is located in Sanhe Town, Haidong City, 2300 meters above sea level. In the deep mountains of Wanzi Village, Guo Lian is on watch as a professional pig farmer. He spent 10 years building an ecological pig farm with ten thousand heads. The market radiates Qinghai, Gansu and other places.

In April 2008, Guo Lian came to Wanzi Village alone. On the second day of the village, she selected a piece of three mu of arable land, and after negotiating with the villagers for expropriation, she began to build the first pig factory and set up a Liansheng pig raising professional cooperative. In the face of such a white and weak woman in the city, the villagers are more worried and worried. But this will be a new starting point for her to develop ecological farming.

Before the age of 30, Guo Lian never thought that one day she would return to the mountains of her hometown to become a "swineherd". If she follows the sales industry she is familiar with, she may be a successful businessman.

Guo Lian, a post-80s woman, quit a stable job to take care of her family after she got married in 2002. At that time, she set up stalls, caught up with the night market, and ran a steamed bun shop. In 2006, she owned a supermarket with an area of more than 90 square meters, and in less than a year, she earned her first 100000 yuan.

At the end of 2007, after watching the news broadcast, my husband inadvertently joked: "wife, now the state pays more attention to agriculture, rural areas and farmers, and the market prospects for agriculture, rural areas and farmers are good. If we have the opportunity, let's go back to our hometown to develop agriculture and animal husbandry." The speaker has no intention of listening, but there are ripples in his heart. When she went home to visit her relatives during the Spring Festival that year, she quietly examined the local geographical conditions and business objects, and finally set her goal on pig farming.

In April 2008, she called a family meeting to talk about her plan to go back to Wanzi Village, Sanhe Town, Ping an to raise pigs. The whole family was surprised and there was no support from the whole family. With her present ability, she is more than enough to live a good life in peace, so why should she go to the countryside to raise pigs?

While doing the ideological work of her family, she paid close attention to the construction of a pig farm. In November 2008, her first pig factory was completed and began to attract pigs to operate, but how could the road to start a business be so smooth?

Lose money and grow at the same time

Due to the cold winter climate at that time, and her lack of breeding experience, the sows after giving birth were infected one after another, and the piglets were constantly in condition because of the low temperature in the enclosure, which was unexpected to her, although she tried her best to consult her farming predecessors and sought animal husbandry and veterinarians everywhere for information, but in the first month of that year, more than 100 of her weaned piglets died.

She dared not open the door of the enclosure in the morning and dared not look into the circle. She would cry when she was buried with the dead piglet on her back and felt very helpless, but slowly she realized that crying and loss could not change anything. When she was strong enough to wipe away her tears, when a piglet died, she dissected one, recorded one, and asked others for advice. in this blood and tears, she accumulated valuable experience. In the face of the villagers' incomprehension, she never explained or shed tears. At this time, her family could no longer sit still and advised her to give up, but she insisted on it with a sense of stubbornness. She said to her husband, "No matter what kind of life you choose, you can't be intimidated by this setback." After that, she summed up the reasons for her failure and worked hard to learn breeding techniques. after half a year, she saved more than 80 sows, bred 500 piglets, and fattened more than 200 fattening pigs, achieving economic profits.

Take off the poor hat for the people in need

After raising their own pigs, the next problem to be solved is how to drive other women to develop the breeding industry and promote women to become rich through science and technology. If we can build a large pig farm to drive the villagers to raise pigs and become rich, it will be a good thing for others and self-interest. Guo Lian is confident that she can make a magnificent turn from retail to aquaculture.

Through field investigation and field investigation, and after careful consideration, she decided to adopt the business model of cooperatives plus ten farmers in breeding bases, mobilized the broad masses of women to join cooperatives, and invited experts to hold training courses on breeding techniques. She also went to farmers' homes to teach women breeding techniques, encouraged them to develop aquaculture and become rich, and provided farming techniques to poor farmers free of charge, sent piglets, built pig houses, and gave feed on credit. Through efforts to lead and drive the vast number of rural women around them to develop, cultivate and become rich, they have played the exemplary role of "double-learning and double-ratio" of grass-roots party members. Cooperative members have grown from the initial 29 to 90. When it comes to her, everyone is willing to work with such an enterprising, down-to-earth and honest person.

After six months of examination and site selection, in April 2012, a new farm with an area of 96 mu and an investment of 10 million yuan, with an area of more than 10,000 square meters, started construction in Xinzhuang Village, Sanhe Town. After intense construction, the pig farm was put into production in November 2012. Now, the sows sleep on the birth bed, the fattening pigs sleep on the fermentation bed, the nursery has a nursery bed, and artificial fertilization is used during breeding. She wants to take the way of scientific breeding. Indeed, her farm was rated as a "standardized farming community" by the state.

At present, she has negotiated with farmers in selenium-rich soil areas around the farm to grow selenium-rich feed in the way of "farmers + cooperatives". Cooperatives purchase farmers' feed according to the contract and then process it uniformly. When eating selenium-rich feed, pigs naturally absorb selenium, and finally produce healthy selenium-rich pork. The development of selenium-rich pork will drive about 120 growers and more than 100 farmers to embark on the road of deep agricultural development with high income and high added value.
