In the goat industry in Yangchun City, Liang Xiang, a farmer in Jinping Village, Chuncheng Street, is famous, and the villagers who start a business with him all call it "shepherd". He and his wife set up camp and raised black goats, which not only made their families rich, but also led and helped the villagers in the village to raise black goats and get rich together.

Recently, the author went to the countryside to Jinping Village, on the way to Liangxiang's goat base for a walk. On this day, the dew in the Yinkeng Mountains of Jinping Village dissipated. Liang Xiang, a villager in his 40s, opened the sheepfold with his wife Li Shuilian and drove more than 800 black goats up the mountain. "these black goats can be more than 10 in front of Ching Ming Festival, and there will be special people to buy them at that time." Looking at the fat sheep in front of him, Liang said excitedly to the couple.

Liang Xiang entered South China Agricultural University at the age of 18, then went out to work, worked as a restaurant waiter, and sold clothes at a street stall. After years of hard work, he found that Jinping Village, Chuncheng Street, has beautiful scenery and dense grass, which is very suitable for raising goats.

In early 2006, Liang Xiang returned to Jinping Village and contracted more than 2000 mu of mountain, forest and grassland to develop black goat breeding and started a new entrepreneurial road. However, starting a business is not plain sailing. When Liang Xiangzheng was preparing to show his skills, a mountain torrent destroyed the mountain forest and grassland he rented, causing a heavy blow to his black mountain sheep, resulting in a direct economic loss of more than 200,000 yuan. Not discouraged, he decided to continue his work and consult animal husbandry experts in other places to formulate a post-disaster reconstruction plan.

Liang Xiang and his wife camped in the mountains for many years, raising funds for the construction of sheep houses, learning epidemic prevention and control, feeding techniques, ewe breeding and delivery, and recommended livestock breeding, so that production continued to develop and grow. at present, there are more than 800 black goats. The black goats raised in Liangxiang are stocked in a pure ecological environment, with tender and smooth meat and good flavor. The products are mainly sold to Hainan and the local market. Nearly 100 black goats were listed last year, which achieved better economic benefits and embarked on the road of getting rich. Liang Xiang said that the black goats he raised were sold through hotels, farmers' markets, consignment outlets and network channels, and the products were in short supply.

Liang Xiang has become the "leader" of local black goat breeding. He plans to continue to expand the breeding scale, build a modern agricultural demonstration black goat breeding base, implement the "company peasant base" model, and drive more villagers to join the breeding ranks. Let everyone get rich as soon as possible.
