Walking into the vineyard north of Litang Village, Guquan Street Office in Juancheng County, I saw Yu Liuzhu, who was in his sixties, working hard in the garden. "I have planted more than 60 mu of grapes. Last year, the yield per mu reached 6000 jin, and the income was not bad." With that, there was a happy smile on Yu Liuzhu's face.

Yu Liuzhu has been working in a winery in Handan, Hebei Province, specializing in growing grapes for the winery. More than ten years of work has enabled him to accumulate rich grape planting experience. In 2012, Yu Liuzhu returned to his hometown to set up Juancheng Chixin Grape Cooperative, introduced Tengren grape seedlings, rented more than 60 mu of land at a price of more than 1000 yuan per mu, and began grape cultivation. In order to ensure the healthy development of the cooperative, Yu Liuzhu specially hired Hou Jinzhi as the general manager of the cooperative, which was mainly responsible for the management and sales of the cooperative.

After three years of planting, Yu Liuzhu cultivated his own "Shijin" Tengren grapes. "Shi and Jin are respectively older than the names of their two grandchildren, and Lao Yu really takes good care of the Shijin grapes as relatives." Hou Jinzhi told reporters that the advantages of "Shijin" Tengren grapes can be summarized as "big balls, holding heads, seedless, all red, sweet". The grape grains are full, the spikes are big and compact, the grape grains are not easy to fall off, there are no grape seeds, and the grains show a purplish red color after ripening, and the juice is sweet. It is precisely because of these advantages that Shijin Tengren grape stood out at the 12th China Forest products Fair in 2015 and won the gold medal.

In order to ensure the quality of Fujiminori grapes in Shijin, Yu Liuzhu has done a lot of work. "each vine only retains three clusters of grapes. Although the yield has decreased, the grapes are more sweet and delicious." Yu Liuzhu said that in the process of grape growth, they never use pesticides, weeding and other work all use manpower, and the fertilizer used is organic fertilizer such as sheep dung. "my grapes are absolutely green and pollution-free, and customers can rest assured to eat them."

Yu Liuzhu's "Shijin" Fujiminori grape ripens early, has outstanding advantages and is resistant to transportation, so it is well received by the market. "every year, when the grapes are ripe, they attract a lot of tourists to come here to play and enjoy the fun of hand-picking." Hou Jinzhi told reporters that their grapes were basically picked or ordered within a month of ripening. In addition to the income from selling grapes, grape seedlings are also a major part of Yu Liuzhu's income. "at present, eight townships in Juancheng County have ordered grape seedlings from me and started grape cultivation." In order to avoid the situation of mutual price reduction, Hou Jinzhi signed a contract with them at the beginning of selling grape seedlings to ensure the unified sale of grapes. In addition to this region, there are also many grape farmers in Jinan, Gansu, Henan and other places who order grape seedlings from here.

Speaking of the next step, Yu Liuzhu is going to plant more peach trees, apples, and so on, and then have a farm fun, and build a modern agricultural garden that integrates tourism, sightseeing, picking, and tasting. "I want to lead more people to join in grape cultivation through my demonstration, and we will develop and get rich together."
