Rabbit is a herbivore with the characteristics of low investment, short cycle, high reproduction rate, quick effect, simple feeding technology, and can be raised by men, women and children, so it is one of the ideal choices for poor areas to shake off poverty and become rich. In 2009, Lu Hongchan, who had successfully started a business in Luonan, decided to return to her hometown Luonan to pursue a career. After investigation and demonstration, experts give suggestions that Luonan's climate and environment are very suitable for the growth and reproduction of French Yila meat rabbits. In December of that year, the only ancestral breeding base of "French Illa Meat Rabbit" in Shaanxi Province was established in Luonan County. In March 2010, ancestral breeding rabbits from Shandong settled in Luonan. From then on, the villagers of Jingcun Town had a rich industry.

In order to raise the rabbit well and produce benefits, Lu Hongchan carefully fed the rabbit in strict accordance with the feeding procedures and technical requirements. During the day, she squatted in the rabbit house to observe the rabbits, and carefully took notes and breeding notes. At night, she also checked whether the water, electricity and wind in the rabbit house were normal. During that time, she only slept three or four hours a day, and the rabbits were growing at a surprising speed, while Lu Hongchan suffered from eye disease because of overwork. She was always busy in front of the rabbit house with red eyes. The members called her "Mother Rabbit".

The model is unique: the party branch guarantees the poor households to raise rabbits.

After several years of development, more and more members have joined the cooperative, and the breeds of meat rabbits have also developed into Yila, Iplu and Igol. In June 2015, Lu Hongchan set up a new breeding base in Miaodi Village, Baoan Town, and established a party branch of Guanghui Rabbit Industry specialized Cooperative in Luonan County. Under the guidance of the party branch, Guanghui rabbit industry base solved the problems of land, capital and sales in the process of development, and established an accurate poverty alleviation model of "party branch guarantee, cooperative credit sale, raising of poor households, and recovery of floor price". Where is the accuracy of this accurate poverty alleviation model?

Lu Hongchan said: "guaranteed by the party branch of the village where the poor households are located, the weaned rabbits who have been vaccinated on credit are fattened and raised. The standard of commercial rabbits can be reached within 30 days, and the cooperative can recover the unified sale. The net profit of each rabbit can reach 5.50 yuan. If a household raises 10 groups of 240 rabbits per batch, the annual total income can reach 13200 yuan according to 10 groups, deducting the cost of rabbit cage and feed. The annual net income is 11870 yuan, and the per capita income of a poor family of three can reach 3597 yuan, and poverty can be lifted out of poverty that year. "

To the next level: the cooperative has built a rabbit dung workshop.

In 2017, Guanghui rabbit industry professional cooperatives will go up to a higher level: a total investment of 25.3 million yuan is planned to build a modern rabbit industry factory covering an area of more than 130mu (including a planting base of 72 mu and a breeding base of 58 mu) with an annual production capacity of 1.5 million rabbits and 15000 tons of rabbit feed.

The manager of the cooperative said proudly: "We will build a transit rabbit house for temporary storage of commercial rabbits raised by farmers, and we will also build a temporary breeding house to be used as a distribution center for farmers to adopt baby rabbits." In the production area, male rabbit houses, cage cleaning workshops, maintenance workshops, slaughtering and freezing workshops, rabbit dung workshops, production offices will be built, and, of course, matching water supply systems, power supply systems, biogas systems and waste incinerators will also be set up.

After the completion of the project, it is planned to lift 1500 poor households out of poverty, build a production base of 5 million commercial rabbits within five years, achieve an annual benefit of 30 million yuan, lift 2500 poor households out of poverty, and increase their per capita income by 3000 yuan.
