"giggle, whoa, squeak." Following this sound, the author walked into the ecological chicken farm under the forest of the Banjiehe villagers' group in Hujiaba Village, Zhaile Town, Nayong County, and saw that the lush mixed forest reflected a blue tile house of more than 100 square meters. around the house and under the woods is a large flock of chickens, some chasing, some looking for food.

Jianghu is a farmer of Banjiehe villagers' group. Many years ago, he and his wife embarked on the road to work in Zhejiang. In Zhejiang, seeing the development and changes of the city and thinking of the backwardness of his hometown, Jianghu secretly vowed to find a suitable way to develop in his hometown after earning money. In the process of working, the two found that modern urban residents have a growing demand for ecological food, and their hometown has a large forest, and the development of ecological chicken farming is a feasible way. During this period, they helped others while studying, mastered some knowledge of raising chickens, and prepared to go back to their hometown for development.

Hujiaba Village, Zhaile Town, is only 6 kilometers away from the connecting line of Xiarong and Swiss Airlines expressways, with convenient transportation, and the mountains are full of mixed forests, lush trees and weeds, which is very suitable for raising chickens. In 2016, the jianghu couple returned to their hometown to consult with their families and chose to raise chickens under the woods around their house. "the front and back of the house are full of mixed forests, which block the sun and are suitable for chickens to grow. This piece of land has more than 3 mu, and it is not a problem to raise thousands of chickens." Pointing to the chicken coop he built, jianghu said.

In early July last year, jianghu invested more than 10,000 yuan to buy the first batch of more than 1000 chicken seedlings to raise.

During the Spring Festival this year, chickens raised by jianghu began to be sold to the surrounding markets, as well as Bijie, Dafang, Nayong County and other places. Jianghu told the author: "in the woodland with fresh air, chickens have a lot of room for movement. In addition to eating corn, they can also eat grass, leaves, insects, and so on. The chickens raised in this way are different, taste good, and are deeply welcomed by consumers."

This year, jianghu bought an incubator to hatch its own chicks. "if you hatch your own chickens, you don't have to go to other places to buy them, and the survival rate is 96%." Jianghu said. At present, more than 1000 chickens have been hatched by incubators.

In order to improve the technology of raising chickens, jianghu also continues to learn breeding techniques through the Internet and the "farm bookstore".

When it comes to future development, jianghu is full of confidence, and he is prepared to further expand the scale, increase the variety of chickens, and set up professional cooperatives for raising chickens, which will provide chicken seedlings and sell them on their behalf, so as to drive the people around them to cultivate and become rich together.
