Recently, a hundred acres of peach blossoms competed with each other on the high mountains of Nan Brother Village, Taigong Town, Taijiang County, Qiandongnan Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, like a rosy glow falling into the green waters and green mountains. The owner of this peach forest is Xiong Kegui, who relied on this hundred mu of peach forest to get rid of poverty and led the villagers to increase their income.

Xiong Kegui is a villager of Niudaping Village, Taigong Township. He dropped out of school and worked in an orchard in Shiqian County, Tongren City, when he was a child. During his days of working in an orchard in Shiqian County, Tongren City, he learned the techniques of growing and managing fine fruits and witnessed how the orchard owner made his fortune from fruit. Every time he comes home during the holidays, when he sees the barren mountains and poor villagers, the strong contrast deeply stimulates Xiong Kegui's heart. He hopes that one day he can lead the poor relatives in the village to increase their income and become rich with his planting technology.

During his part-time job, he noticed that the market for peaches was very good. Although some people in Taijiang also planted peach trees, very few peaches were planted, so he decided to plant peaches on a large scale.

In 2011, Xiong Kegui returned to his hometown to start a business. after half a year of investigation, study and preparation, he borrowed 30,000 yuan of credit funds from rural credit cooperatives in 2012 to buy saplings, thus opening a new chapter in his life.

Planting, ploughing, topdressing, grafting. He did everything himself, and hired five or six villagers to work with him. In order to maintain the normal operation of the orchard, whenever he was short of funds, he went to the rural credit cooperatives and received credit support of 20,000 yuan, 40,000 yuan and 60,000 yuan successively. Under Xiong Kegui's careful management, peaches are growing well. In 2014, he had an income of 90,000 yuan and lifted his cap out of poverty.

In order to increase the income of more poor households and expand his planting base, he applied for 280000 yuan of credit funds from rural credit cooperatives in 2015. Xiong Kegui has successively received 1.12 million yuan of credit support from rural credit cooperatives. Now he has not only 100 mu of peach base, but also more than 60 mu of Jinqiu pear, providing employment opportunities for more than 20 poor households.
