Yang Tianxiang, a villager of Cuizhong Village, Jiangtai Township, Xiji County, was elected as the village director this year. He is so popular because he is a big cattle farmer and a leader in getting rich in the village. Referring to Yang Tianxiang's initial motivation for farming, his answer was to follow the policy, but he could not wait and rely on it. His own drive was the key to getting rich.

Yang Tianxiang, a villager with hot eyes, began to raise cattle in 2012. At that time, the income of the villagers mainly depended on growing grain and going out to work. Yang Tianxiang ran transportation earlier, and over the past few years, it seemed that he had made money but could not see it, and he was "tired of asking for an account." He heard that the agricultural sector subsidized cattle farmers, with a subsidy of 100 yuan per square meter of enclosure and access to discount loans, which immediately changed the model.

With a loan of 30,000 yuan and savings, Yang Tianxiang built a 350-square-meter bullpen and bought 15 fattening cows and basic cows. The stalls were rolled out, but the expected subsidies were not immediately realized. After questioning, Yang Tianxiang learned that the declaring households wanted to cash in the subsidies one by one, but his comparison was relatively low, and he could not approve it at 01:30. Yang Tianxiang, who was in a hurry to use the money, was "blocked" in his heart. He spent all his savings, waiting for tens of thousands of yuan to subsidize the purchase of forage grass.

When he got home, Yang Tianxiang thought about it after turning around in the bullpen for a few times: "the subsidy has not come down, nor can we let the cattle lose fat." It is certainly a good thing for the government to guide farmers to raise cattle, but we cannot rely solely on the government to put everything in place. " Yang Tianxiang borrowed money from relatives and friends and devoted all his energies to learning the skills of raising cattle.

Nearly two years later, when the subsidy funds were in place, Yang Tianxiang had become an expert in raising cattle in the village. Seeing that he raised cattle well and made money, the villagers came to his door one after another to "learn from the lessons." Yang Tianxiang did not hide, from forage pickling, fattening cattle out of the pen, cows calving to barn disinfection, all discussed and communicated with the villagers.

In the past two years, precise poverty alleviation has brought more good news to farmers. A series of preferential agricultural policies, such as forage subsidies, barn subsidies, basic cow subsidies, and seeing calves to supplement their mothers, have further stimulated Yang Tianxiang's confidence in raising cattle, and now the number of cattle has increased to 35. He plans to expand the scale of aquaculture step by step and develop towards professional farming.
