The good advantage of ecological resources here has deeply attracted Cheng Xiaoling. In 2012, in order to realize her entrepreneurial dream, regardless of the dissuasion of her relatives and friends, Cheng Xiaoling resolutely gave up the superior living conditions in the county and returned to Caochuanzi Village to raise native chickens.

Factory chicken farming has the advantages of low cost, short cycle and quick results, so why do you want to go back to your hometown to do native chicken farming? In the face of such confusion, Cheng Xiaoling replied without hesitation that factory chicken farming can indeed make a profit quickly, but the quality of meat is not as good as that of native chicken, and in the long run, native chicken farming should be developed. this is also in line with people's desire to pursue green food and quality of life. If you want to make money in doing business, you should have peace of mind and be worthy of the broad masses of consumers.

Since 2012, she has built two chicken coops on the edge of her garden, selected the local authentic native chicken breeds and adopted the woodland free-range mode, with a growth cycle of more than 10 months.

Caochuanzi's good ecological breeding environment, coupled with her stringent requirements on the quality of her native chicken, over the past year, her native chicken is different in appearance and chicken quality, and is deeply welcomed by consumers.

At that time, she earned the first bucket of gold in her entrepreneurial career, which gave her stronger confidence in her future entrepreneurial path. Her successful experience soon attracted the attention of the people in the village. driven by her, five households in the village soon followed her to develop native chicken farming.

In order to further expand the influence of her native chicken farming, in 2014, Cheng Xiaoling took the lead in setting up a professional cooperative of Caochuanzi ecological native chicken farming. In order to raise better quality native chicken, Cheng Xiaoling always pays attention to every link and detail of the growth of native chicken. She herself invested 20,000 yuan to buy five automatic temperature-controlled incubators and bought local native eggs to hatch chicken seedlings from nearby farmers. In addition to stocking herself, the rest was provided to members of the club and farmers at cost.

In a short period of three years, Cheng Xiaoling has led more than 30 farmers in Zhoubian Town Village to develop large-scale farming of native chickens. The scale of raising native chickens in cooperatives has grown from more than 1000 at the beginning to more than 6000 commercial chickens a year, more than 10000 young chickens have been hatched, and the output value is more than 800,000 yuan.

In recent years, with Ningqiang County paying close attention to the development strategy of "integration of culture and tourism" and vigorously developing rural tourism, the development of Caochuanzi natural landscape tourism has also kept up with the pace of the times, like a raging fire, and there is an endless stream of tourists from all over the country for sightseeing and leisure. Cheng Xiaoling also realized that the tourism industry brought her new business opportunities and put forward the experience sales model of Caochuanzi ecological native chicken.

Cheng Xiaoling put up a billboard at the entrance of the village, set up a pot stove in front of her house, killed chickens on the spot, cooked chickens with firewood, and equipped with real estate Gastrodia elata, yam, angelica and other Chinese herbal medicines, whether it was clear stew chicken soup, or cold Chicken with Chili and Sichuan Pepper, stir-fried chicken, braised chicken nuggets, tourists were full of praise after tasting them, and when they left, they had to buy some native chickens to take away.

In 2016, in order to further expand sales channels and enhance brand image, Cheng Xiaoling's cooperative and Hunan Huinong Science and Technology Co., Ltd. reached a consensus to open a new online sales model on Huinong.

After the local chicken is slaughtered and treated in the cooperative, it is packed in vacuum, and according to the needs of customers, it is matched with Gastrodia elata, Lentinus edodes and other local products as ingredients, which are delivered to customers through Shunfeng Express, and the products are sold to more than 10 provinces and cities, including Beijing, Guangdong, Zhejiang and Shanghai. at the same time, physical stores are set up in the county e-commerce industrial park to achieve online and offline sales at the same time.

This year, the cooperative plans to buy two more large-scale automatic temperature-controlled incubators to expand the production of chicken seedlings and mobilize more poor households around to join the native chicken industry. At the same time, Cheng Xiaoling is also ready to set up farm music, extend the local chicken breeding industry chain, further increase the income of farmers, do a good job in production, epidemic prevention, and sales services for poor households, and contribute to the precise poverty alleviation work.
