There are more than 1000 kinds of nectar plants such as Artemisia annua, sweet-scented osmanthus, sweet-scented osmanthus and so on, and the flowers bloom continuously in the four seasons, which has an excellent environment for Chinese honeybee culture.

Since the implementation of the poverty alleviation project, Longling County has taken apiculture as an industry for farmers to get rid of poverty and enrich the people, and issued relevant support policies. the industrial development model of "market + leading enterprises + bases + professional cooperatives + farmers (poor households with archives)" was established, and Yunnan Yuenong Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. was introduced as the leading enterprise for the development of Chinese honeybee industry by attracting investment. The professional cooperative of honeybee breeding has been set up, the training of practical technology of honeybee has been carried out, and the way of "company + cooperative + peasant household" has been adopted to develop the honeybee breeding industry, so that the "sweet industry" has helped poor households to get rid of poverty and become rich.

"for the bees distributed in August last year, by January this year, each group produced an average of 15 jin of honey. Calculated on the basis of two seasons of honey harvested in a year, each group produces 30 jin of honey per year, and at 60 yuan per jin, the output value of each group is 1800 yuan. at the same time, each group is divided into one swarm every year, and the annual income of each poor household increases by 10500 yuan, which can be regarded as a lot of income. " Bi Hongan said.

By last year, Longling County had 1171 households raising more than 10 groups of Chinese honeybees, 150 households applying for Chinese honeybee breeding certificates, one leading enterprise to build a Chinese honey processing plant, 70 breeding bases, and one registered Chinese honeybee breeding association and three professional cooperatives, with an annual honey output of 100 tons and an output value of 20 million yuan. Little bees are playing a more and more important role in promoting agricultural efficiency, increasing farmers' income, precision poverty alleviation and so on.
