Cold water fish culture takes villagers on the road to prosperity
Hui-style residential buildings stand on the hills, streams pass through the village, and fish are swimming happily in one side of the fish pond. In recent years, Luanchuan County, Luoyang Shimiao Town Zhujia Village Gaoshan fishing Village by planting cold-water fish to lead the villagers onto the road to prosperity.
"my environment here is suitable for raising cold-water fish." Zhu Liucang, secretary of the village branch of Zhujiacun, told reporters, "the minimum water temperature for rainbow trout culture should not be lower than 6 ℃, and the maximum water temperature should not exceed 22 degrees." The water temperature here is not less than 8 degrees under normal circumstances, and the water temperature is not more than 20 degrees in dog days. "
The unique water resources let the villagers see the hope of getting rich. In 2013, the party committee and government of Shizimiao Town called on villagers to dig ponds to raise fish and develop the cold-water fish industry.
Congenital water resources conditions exist, but the villagers have never done cold-water fish culture, lack of farming experience and professional farming technology. In order to solve this problem, at the beginning of development, leaders of Lion Temple Town visited Huairou, Xi'an and other places to learn from other people's experience in aquaculture. At the same time, technical experts from Luoyang Fisheries Research Institute were invited to guide on-site breeding.
At present, 13 ecological fish ponds and 39 ecological fish ponds have been built in the alpine fishing village, covering an area of more than 14000 square meters, with more than 300000 cold-water fish farmed, mainly rainbow trout.
"We sell it to all parts of the country at a price of 20-25 yuan per catty, and it will be no problem to buy 10,000 to 20,000 tons a year." Zhu Liucang said with joy on his face that it was mainly sold to farm music in the local area, and the price of the fish more than doubled as soon as it was on the table.
In addition to cold-water fish farming, the alpine fishing village has also transformed the Hui style of folk houses and built farmhouses and guesthouses. At present, there are eight farm families in Zhujia Village, each with a gross income of about 700,000 to 800,000 yuan.
It is understood that cold-water fish farming in alpine fishing villages has an annual output value of more than 1500 yuan and a profit of more than 2 million yuan. at the same time, farming, catering and farm hotels have led to the employment of more than 300 people, with an annual per capita income of more than 8000 yuan. In 2014, Zhu Jiacun successfully took off the "poverty cap" and won honors such as "National Leisure Fisheries demonstration Base" and "the most Beautiful Village in Henan Province".
"the size of the fish ponds is now relatively stable, so it is not suitable to expand the area. In the next step, we are going to focus on building a Nongjiale Hotel with catering, accommodation and entertainment as one. " When it comes to future development plans, Zhu Liucang is full of confidence.
