Village director tries to plant big ball mushroom for villagers to walk to prosperity road
Spring shines brightly in March. These days, Li Jianqiang, director of Huihu Village, Baijie Town, Naxi District, Luzhou City, is always smiling. More than 400 jin of large ball-covered mushrooms collected from the ground twice every morning and afternoon are immediately sent to a large supermarket in the city of Luzhou. The wholesale price of 12 yuan per kilogram makes him earn more than 2000 yuan a day. "I didn't expect that growing big ball covered mushrooms would be so worthwhile. According to the current output, the 5 mu big ball covered mushrooms I planted last winter could achieve a net income of 60,000 yuan." Li Jianqiang said happily while collecting mushrooms on the ground.
Li Jianqiang harvested and planted Pleurotus ostreatus on the ground.
Li Jianqiang tried to grow big ball mushrooms in Huihu Village this year because of a study trip organized by the town. In July 2016, when Li Jianqiang accompanied the town to Chongqing to visit and study the development of agricultural industrialization, he was excited after a farm discovered the project of growing large ball-covered mushrooms with idle land in bamboo forests and bamboo sawdust as the main auxiliary materials. "our return to Tiger Village is the core area of 100000 mu of bamboo sea in Naxi. If we can also grow big ball cover mushrooms, a large amount of bamboo waste left behind by the Zhuyun company in the village will have a new use, and the thick layer of bamboo leaves that fall every year will also become a ready-made raw material, and there will be another income-increasing industry in the village." Li Jianqiang told me.
So, in October 2016, in order to find a way for the villagers to get rich, Li Jianqiang first invested 60,000 yuan to introduce bacteria, pulled back sawdust from the village's Zhuyun Company, and invited the technical staff of the strain company to guide them in strict accordance with the rules and requirements.
What Li Jianqiang did not expect is that after just more than three months of careful management, in late February this year, in the idle ground of the bamboo forest, a blossom of thick mushrooms broke through the soil and the bamboo leaves scattered on the soil appeared in front of him. Li Jianqiang has succeeded in planting big ball mushrooms, which also means that there is a new way to develop the economy under the forest in Hu Village.
Li Jianqiang said that the use of bamboo woodland to grow Pleurotus ostreatus is not only low production cost, easy to operate, except for bacteria, are local materials, the benefit is good. The input cost per mu is about 12000 yuan, and the lowest yield per mu can reach more than 2000 kilograms. According to the current market wholesale price of 12 yuan / kg, the net income per mu is 12000 yuan, and the economic benefit is very considerable. "in particular, if you plant the big ball cover mushroom, you can harvest 2mi three times," says Li Jianqiang.
"using bamboo sawdust to plant big balls to cover mushrooms to earn ten thousand yuan per mu, and you have to harvest 2murs three times at a time, which is really a good industry." During this period of time, villagers envied Li Jianqiang when he saw that growing mushrooms was like picking up a "golden doll" from the ground. Now 22 villagers have asked to join in the cultivation of mushrooms. In the face of the villagers' desire to get rich, while busy harvesting big ball cover mushrooms, Li Jianqiang began to set up a special club for villagers to "group" to grow big ball cover mushrooms. "next, I will invite professionals to train villagers who are interested in planting Pleurotus ostreatus, and strive to achieve a planting area of more than 200 mu in the village next year, and will return to Tiger Village to build the largest planting base in Luzhou. Turn the forest land into a 'treasure basin' for enriching the people and increasing income." Li Jianqiang said.
