The sun is just right, the breeze is not dry, and the sparkling water reflects the blue sky and white clouds. In the modern fishery demonstration park in Lilang Town, Liangping District, Chongqing, cheerful fish are wagging their tails to find food in the fish pond.

"these fish are growing well this year and should be able to fetch a good price." It is today's protagonist, Liu Dili, who is tall and dark-skinned, with small but divine eyes. I saw him squatting by the fish pond with a water quality monitor in his hand, carefully observing the figures on the instrument, looking attentive.

Return to hometown and smell the right business opportunity to build a 100-mu fish pond

In 1994, Liu Dili came to work in Guangzhou with the high-spirited spirit of a young man. because of his down-to-earth and diligent work, Liu Dili was soon promoted to head of the department and made a successful career. "Today, it was White Dew who suddenly thought of his brother in the distance, looking at the moon and thinking that the moon in his hometown was more round and brighter." Although he worked hard outside, he often missed his hometown in the vicissitudes of life. "there is no sense of belonging outside." Liu Dili said that in 2006, Liu Dili resolutely chose to resign and return to his hometown, and in the same year, the second son was born, which strengthened his determination to stay in his hometown to support the elderly and take care of the children.

"although the conditions in my hometown are not as good as those outside, I always believe that as long as I work hard and dare to work hard, I can find a way to success." Liu Dili said.

Liu Dili, who did not suffer hardships, could not become an expert. Liu Dili, who returned to his hometown, was hard-working and tenacious, and did the work of producing bean gluten by hand. Not only that, he also raised pigs and planted lotus root at the same time, and the waste food produced in the process of making bean gluten was used to feed pigs. Pig manure was used to cultivate lotus root. The road to three-dimensional agriculture became more and more professional, and the "little life" was getting smoother and smoother.

In 2014, Li let the town set off a "fish fever", Liu Dili smelled business opportunities, strong enterprising spirit made him determined to change the status quo.

"the town of Liliang has an excellent geographical location and has high-quality conditions for fish farming, so young people should keep trying and challenge more." Liu Dili said.

When Li said, Liu Dili began to travel around the major aquaculture farms, learning farming experience from his predecessors. Willing to bear hardships and love to use their brains, in the same year, Liu Dili and his friends raised more than 3 million yuan to work on their own in three groups, six groups, seven groups, and eight groups in West Sichuan Village, transferring 210 mu of land.

After going through the storm, the rainbow appeared.

"A sharp sword needs polishing, and the fragrance of plum blossoms comes from the cold winter." Aquaculture is far from as easy as young Liu Dili thought. He has encountered many obstacles in the way of transferring land, building fish ponds, purchasing fish fry and raising fish fry.

At the beginning of the construction of the fish pond, moving the telephone pole became a thorny problem because the layout of the electric wire on the road was very messy. It was not easy to solve the problem of the telephone pole. Everyone was excited to build the fish pond, seeing that the fish pond was beginning to take shape and was preparing to raise fish. A heavy rain wasted all the previous efforts, and Liu Dili's hope was also leaked together with the water in the fish pond. The original section of the road for the construction of fish ponds was uneven and dominated by sandy soil. after the impact of heavy rain, the soil became looser and the bearing capacity decreased, so it collapsed.

"I was so hit on the head that I couldn't eat or sleep during that time." Liu Dili recalled the days when he was so worried, "but when you are sad, you have to find a way to solve the problem. You can't give up halfway." Liu Dili "revived the momentum", thought about the problems existing in the fish ponds across the ridge, and came up with countermeasures to solve the problems, adding barbed wire to the fish ponds and hardening them with cement.

"when the fish pond was just built, grass carp were mainly fed. It was a fish splash purchased from Guangzhou." While introducing to us the situation in the early days of his business, Liu Dili walked toward the fish food delivery machine by the fish pond. He skillfully poured the brown fish food into the machine, then turned on the switch, and the originally quiet fish pond immediately boiled. A large piece of "black pressure" was surging in the fish pond, and hundreds of fish were scrambling for food.

"the skill of raising fish cannot be mastered at once, and there is a lot of knowledge in it." Liu Dili said. In the first year, because grass carp had a weak physique, easy to get sick, and lack of experience, the fed grass carp got enteritis, hepatobiliary syndrome and died of thousands of jin. On the occasion of insisting or giving up, Liu Dili learned lessons, summed up experience, asked for advice, devoted himself to his own fishing ground, and finally dug the first bucket of gold.

As the old saying goes, "become a doctor after a long illness". After many failures, Liu Dili gradually fumbled out the knack of raising fish. Understand the physical condition of the fish by observing how the fish eat; the ammonia nitrogen content and PH value of the water quality in the fish pond are suitable for fish growth; how to control the oxygen supply in the fish pond. Slowly, Liu Dili also became a little-known fish culture expert.

A new way to get rich scientifically in running water culture

In Liu Dili's breeding base, the four blue running pools are very eye-catching. The reporter noticed that the upper and lower ends of each running pool are equipped with blocks made of special materials, and the upper front end is equipped with a water pusher, and the lower tail end is equipped with a fecal collection tank. According to Liu Dili, this is the pond low-carbon and high-efficiency circulating water culture system used in the breeding base.

In June 2015, Liu Dili built two running ponds under the guidance of experts. after the completion, he carried out a trial culture of carp, which not only increased the yield, but also shortened the culture cycle. A single pond can produce 9000 kilograms of carp.

"Pond low-carbon and high-efficiency circulating water culture has the advantages of reducing feed coefficient, shortening culture cycle, reducing the incidence of fish diseases, improving fish quality and reducing management costs." Introduced by Liu Dili.

Seeing the prospect of low-carbon and high-efficiency circulating water culture in ponds, in January 2016, Liu Dili began to expand the scale of low-carbon and high-efficiency circulating water culture in ponds, investing more than 400,000 yuan. We began to build a single running pond with a length of 22 meters, a width of 5 meters and a height of 2.2 meters, and put in yellow spicy diced fish, clamp fish, crucian carp and other varieties. Compared with the previous flow ponds, the largest one built this time can breed about 18000 kilograms of fish, and the yield per mu is 4 times that of the original culture, thus achieving greater benefits. up to now, there are eight flow ponds in the whole base.

Because of scientific management, rich experience and advanced technology, Liu Dili's breeding scale is getting larger and larger, and now it has set up Chongqing Tiange Agricultural Comprehensive Development Co., Ltd. The farmed fish are mainly sold to Chongqing, Wanzhou, Dazhou and other surrounding counties, with an annual sales volume of more than 200 tons and an annual net profit of more than 500,000 yuan.
