"We cannot wait for a good day, nor can we rely on it, let alone. Now that the state has a good poverty alleviation policy, coupled with our hard-working hands, our family will be able to get rid of poverty within a year." Recently, six groups of poor households in Huamiao Village, Zhengsheng Township, Santai County, Yang Changrong told reporters with a smile that they rely on raising poultry such as "running pheasants" and become rich day by day.

Yang Changrong's family was originally a happy family. More than a decade ago, Yang Changrong lost his labor force because of myelodysplastic syndrome, and the family burden fell on his wife Li Qinghua alone. In 2015, Yang Changrong was listed as "planning to the household, responsibility to the person" to accurately identify poor households who set up archives and set up cards. In the same year, Yang Changrong's son Yang Bo returned to his hometown with his daughter after his divorce. "although I am powerless, my son is at least a technical secondary school, so he should have the mind to make a good life for his family." After discussion by the family, they decided to take advantage of their own slopes to raise pheasants for family running.

Through the financial poverty alleviation policy, with the support of the two committees of the village branch and the first secretary, the Yang Changrong family took out a loan of 50,000 yuan from the credit cooperative of Zhengsheng Township, contracted out about 5 mu of land abandoned after their house, and set up a mountain chicken coop that can support more than 1000 chickens. In view of the lack of initial breeding experience, the Yang family first bought 1000 chickens weighing about one kilo and began to raise them, and constantly searched the Internet to learn relevant breeding techniques, looking for sales channels, and so on, for fear of taking a wrong step. Add frost and snow to the family.

Four months later, more than 1000 pheasants carefully raised by the family sold in the first batch and in the second batch half a month later, making a net profit of nearly 30,000 yuan. "We raise them carefully and regularly disinfect and prevent epidemics for fear of making a mistake." After the harvest of the first bucket of gold, the Yang Changrong family was overjoyed, but instead of stopping, they were thinking about how to expand the scale and increase the number of poultry breeds. Subsequently, Yang Changrong and his family built a new standard brick-concrete chicken house, entered 1000 chicken seedlings, rented about 200 mu of woodland of some people in the society, bought 800 geese, and started breeding geese and meat geese under the forest. then bought another 40 breeding rabbits.

At present, the second batch of chicken seedlings are all alive, 500 chickens are about to come out of the pen, and another 500 are already three or four kilograms in size. The first batch of 500 geese have been bought back and have begun to be carefully raised. All 40 breeding rabbits have survived and now have a net income of more than 3000 yuan. Yang Bo, the son of Yang Changrong, told the reporter: "according to the breeding situation of this batch of geese, we plan to select a batch of geese to lay eggs and a batch of them to raise meat geese. If nothing happens, it should also be a considerable income. When our breeding technology is good, the cash flow is open, and we plan to raise a batch of mutton sheep on the mountain."

Yang Changrong and his family enjoy financial poverty alleviation and other related policies in the current accurate poverty alleviation policy. They devote themselves to the aquaculture industry and strive to change their lives. "with policy support, my family will certainly be able to live a better life in two years' time." Yang Bo is full of confidence in his future life.
