The Rex Rabbit King never forgets his neighbors when he gets rich.

On April 24, the reporter saw Wang Xuecheng, a villager from Huangfu Village, Zhangguang Town, Nanfeng District, Chuzhou City, who was known as the "Rex Rabbit King" in eastern Anhui, when he was busy in his own Rex rabbit demonstration and breeding base. He told reporters that the project plans to invest nearly 10 million yuan and covers an area of 146.7 mu. It is a comprehensive demonstration and breeding base integrating breeding, slaughtering, processing and sales.

Wang Xuecheng, 50, is born with deformed fingers in his right hand, and his wife is also disabled. The whole family used to make a living by planting several acres of thin land. In order to change the face of poverty, he tried to raise pigs, but the income was not satisfactory. An accidental opportunity in 2006, he saw the Rex rabbit breeding investment, quick, easy to raise the information was moved. He bought relevant books, visited Anhui Agricultural University, Anhui Academy of Agricultural Sciences and many Rex rabbit breeding factories in China, sought advice from rabbit experts and professors, borrowed 40,000 yuan, introduced 100 breeding rabbits, and embarked on the entrepreneurial road of breeding Rex rabbits.

Due to poor breeding skills, the first batch of more than 500 rabbits raised by Wang Xuecheng died in large numbers. Not discouraged, he used the "thousand yuan project" of the disabled Persons' Federation in the area to support farming, which was successful and profitable in the winter of that year. After several years of efforts, he has become an expert in raising Rex rabbits and gradually embarked on the road to becoming rich.

Never forget your neighbors when you get rich. In 2008, he took the initiative to provide rabbit breeding and free technical support to more than 20 villagers who learned breeding techniques from him, and held many training courses on Rex rabbit breeding techniques. He promised that if the villagers encountered problems in raising Rex rabbits, he would be on call. On December 21, 2010, Wang Xuecheng rode more than 20 kilometers to be treated when he received a call for help from Li Chao's breeding rabbit in Yuansong Village. On the way back, due to the slippery road covered with snow, he fell down in the ravine with his car and fell into a coma. Fortunately, the passing villagers found it and sent him to hospital in time, which saved his life.

In recent years, Wang Xuecheng continued to expand the scale of breeding and jointly established Chuzhou Jinsheng Rex rabbit breeding professional cooperative. Cooperatives implement "small group breeding, large-scale operation, resource sharing, risk sharing", and unified seed supply, prevention and control, sales, material supply and so on. At present, the number of members of the cooperative has grown to 140, including 25 disabled families, with an annual output of nearly 300000 commercial rabbits. The cooperative has been rated as the municipal model farmers' professional cooperative and the province's top ten demonstration bases for poverty alleviation for the disabled; he has also won the top ten entrepreneurial stars for the disabled in Anhui Province, a model for self-improvement in Anhui Province, and a "good person in China".
