chicory first appeared in China during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, when the International Olympic Committee asked chicory to be a special dish. It was concluded that Shenyang, Liaoning was the best place for chicory to grow in cold tolerance, drought tolerance, large temperature difference between day and night, and happy to be born in sunny chicory.
in April 2014, Huang Jiazhen and KORSE, a Dutch MILEKA agricultural industrial company, jointly invested 100 million yuan to establish Shenyang Baokun Agricultural Science and Technology Co., Ltd., a modern agricultural enterprise specializing in growing ecologically active alkaline food therapeutic vegetables. Since 2016, it has successfully planted chicory on a large scale and has expanded its planting to 3000 mu this year. The company has all implemented the "order agriculture" model, forming a soilless cultivation base of chicory with the cooperation of Dutch agricultural scientist KORSE and the introduction of Dutch high-end agricultural technology and special machinery.

Recommended practice: purple chicory mango salad
