Recently, Li Fenglin, a villager from Cheger Village, Jiangge Township, Yumin County, successfully cultivated a rare mushroom strain, Morchella, and the villagers went to visit one after another. Morchella, also known as Phyllostachys pubescens, is a precious edible and medicinal fungus. Morchella is not only rich in nutrition, but also has the effect of eliminating food stagnation, abdominal distension, phlegm and reverse wheezing cough. It is reported that last year, Li Fenglin came to the Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences to learn the planting technology of Morchella. In October of that year, he introduced strains and began trial planting in his four greenhouses. Morchella was successfully planted in April this year and is now producing mushrooms one after another. According to Li Fenglin, at present, the market price of fresh Morchella is up to 260 yuan per kilogram, and dried bacteria can sell for 2000 yuan per kilogram.
