Shuicaoba Village, Sanheba Township, Kang County, Gansu Province, where Ma Xinghui is located, is one of the most remote villages in the township, with high mountains and dense forests, sparsely populated, and a single income for the masses, so going out to work has always been the first choice for young and strong workers here. Ma Xinghui is one of them. But while others were still running around to earn physical money in other places all the year round, Ma Xinghui came back and went home to run a farm. In just one year, people in seven villages along the river were impressed.

Because of his poor family, Ma Xinghui went to Anhui, Jiangxi and other places to work with others after graduating from junior high school. While working at a construction site in Anhui, he occasionally found that a kind of pheasant raised in a local farm sells well, and the natural environment of this place is similar to that of Kangxian County. He also learned that the feed for this pheasant is wheat and corn that are also available in Kangxian County. Ma Xinghui kept an eye on it. as long as he had free time, he would go to this chicken farm, chat with the owner of the chicken farm, and learn the skills of raising pheasants. After he had basically mastered the essentials of raising pheasants, Ma Xinghui quit his job at the construction site and returned to Kangxian County with his family to start planning his own pheasant farm.

Ma Xinghui's family used to live on a hillside 500 to 600 meters away from the road, but now their new house is built on the side of the road, and the barren slopes and abandoned land under the front of the old house cover seven or eight mu, which is suitable for raising pheasants. After some preparation, in March 2016, Ma Xinghui registered and established a professional cooperative for Xianghui farming farmers, attracting 13 farmers to join the cooperative. Invest 130000 yuan to build a simple chicken house of 100sqm. Due to the unique climate and environment needed for pheasant growth, by the end of the year, more than 1000 pheasants will be listed, and each pheasant will be purchased at a cost of 20 yuan and sold for 90 yuan, with a profit of more than 60 yuan per pheasant.
