Greenhouse planting technology is a very common planting method at present, and it is often used in the process of tomato planting. However, recently, many farmers have responded that they do not know how to manage growing tomatoes in the greenhouse and what problems need to be paid attention to in the planting process. So today, the editor will introduce to you the management technology of growing tomatoes in the greenhouse.

1. Humidity

The humidity requirement of tomato growth is very strict, whether in its growth period, flowering period or fruiting period, it has a great impact on it. In general, after the tomato is planted, we have to water enough, and then we have to wait until the second round of flowers to water it. At the same time, we need to strictly control the amount of water from the first round of flowering to the third round of flowering. It is best to water the fruit during this period of time. In the strong fruit period, we should irrigate enough water to avoid the phenomenon of fruit cracking. Finally, it should be noted that when the temperature is low, we need to reduce the amount of water, and when the temperature increases, we need to increase the amount of water appropriately.

2. Temperature

After the tomato is planted, we should scientifically regulate the temperature of its growth. Generally speaking, during the period of entering the fruit setting period, the temperature had better be kept between 25 and 30 degrees, and the night temperature had better not be lower than 15 degrees. Of course, in winter, although it is planted in the greenhouse, its temperature is still low, so we have to reduce the time of ventilation, and can cover plastic film or straw to keep warm. When the temperature gradually picks up, we can appropriately enhance ventilation and reduce the humidity in the greenhouse, do not wait for the temperature in the greenhouse to be 30 degrees before ventilation, otherwise the harm to the tomato is very great. Finally, the temperature difference between day and night should be controlled at about humidity, which is conducive to the uniform coloring of tomatoes and improve the quality of tomatoes.

3. Density

Reasonable density is also very important for tomato cultivation. In the process of planting in the greenhouse, we should adjust the tomato plants appropriately. When growing tomatoes in the greenhouse, we all adjust the density according to the varieties of tomatoes. Like precocious varieties, the planting density is generally about 3,000 plants per mu per month, that is, the row spacing is 50 cm and the plant spacing is 30 cm. On the other hand, mid-maturing varieties or late-maturing varieties and mid-late-maturing varieties can generally plant 3500 or about 2, 000 plants per mu.

4. Pruning

The arrangement of branches and leaves of tomato is also a link worthy of our attention in its management process. First of all, we set up the frame when the tomato bears the first round of fruit, and then pull the branches and leaves of the tomato to the stand to climb and grow. In the process of erecting, we can properly remove the heart to promote the growth of tomato side branches, or it means to retain the main branches and remove all the other side branches. Finally, it should be noted that in the process of branch and leaf finishing, we tie the branches to the bracket and fix them to facilitate the follow-up management work.

5. Nutrients

After the tomato is planted, we should water it properly and add the right amount of available fertilizer to the water. Secondly, in the process of tomato seedling growth, we try not to use nitrogen fertilizer to avoid excessive growth of branches and leaves. After the tomato blossoms and bears fruit, we can properly spray foliar fertilizer and topdressing potash fertilizer to promote the growth of the fruit. When the fruit is harvested, we need to apply a large fertilizer to prepare for the next high yield, while avoiding plant aging, which will lead to a reduction in yield.

In the process of growing tomato in the greenhouse, we also need to pay attention to the regulation of light, which is reasonable light into the greenhouse to promote the absorption of nutrients, resulting in tomato production. This is the end of what the editor is going to introduce to you today. Thank you for your long-term support and encouragement.
