Introduction: nowadays, many families like to put some bonsai or potted plants at home, on the one hand, they can decorate the room, on the other hand, they can beautify the environment and bring vitality to the home. But many people do not know the difference between bonsai and potted plants. Here, the editor will popularize this knowledge for everyone.

The difference between bonsai and potted plants:

Bonsai is the previous life of bonsai, which is derived from bonsai and is a potted plant for viewing. To put it simply, the fundamental difference between a potted plant and a bonsai is that the potted plant goes through a series of manual operations and finally becomes an ornamental potted plant. Potted plants are just plants planted in pots for everyone to enjoy. The bonsai not only has the appreciation of potted plants, but also embodies the artistic flavor and poetry shown by the careful carving and design of professionals. Through the processing of bonsai to express the carver's yearning and pursuit of the best of nature, is the sustenance of the author's feelings.

The conditions of bonsai:

1) Root type: the quality of bonsai depends on the root plate, which plays a very important role in the production of bonsai. People often say that the beautiful root is derived from the development of the root in all directions, sometimes stretching and sometimes bending, sometimes because of the soil and sometimes hidden in the ground, ensuring that the whole bonsai stands.

2) long base: under normal growth conditions, most of the places where the trunk extends to the top of the tree and finally meets the root belong to the long base. The trees used to create bonsai generally come from mountain forests, and the trunk will bend to a certain extent due to the influence of the natural environment, but it will not affect Longji. Proper bending will bring beauty to bonsai, so sometimes it will change the curvature of Longji to a certain extent in order to achieve a certain sense of beauty.

3) trunks: the trunk is relative to the tree as the body is an indispensable part of the human body and the basic condition for shaping a beautiful tree. The trunk of naturally growing trees is getting thinner and thinner from the bottom up, and this kind of trunk is the most suitable for making bonsai. Only when the various parts of the tree are coordinated can the balanced sister be brought into full play.

4) branches: the most prominent advantage of branches in showing the beauty of bonsai is to provide physical beauty. Good branches have the conditions of proper thickness and good strength. Big branches grow from the trunk and grow into small branches all the time, and the intricate branches coordinate with each other to give full play to the beauty of bonsai.

5) leaves: with the change of the four seasons, the color and shape of the leaves will also change, it is this natural force that bonsai has ornamental value all the year round.

Play with a few bonsai at home to bring a sense of art and vitality to the family. I believe that under the introduction of the editor, everyone will choose bonsai that will look good.

Pot planting of Fruit trees and dwarfing measures of Bonsai

Potted fruit trees and bonsai are field fruit trees planted in pots and orchards placed indoors, balconies or patios. Therefore, in the production of potted fruit trees, in order to effectively restrain branch development, improve tree dwarfing, maintain strong tree momentum and excellent tree shape, and achieve the artistic result of "shrinking the dragon into an inch", the following measures are often taken to restrain the prosperity and development of the aboveground part.

Using the developed and mature branches as the scion, the fruit branch group was cut for 2 to 3 years on the developed and fruitful field fruit trees, and the fruit branch group was used as the scion grafting pot tree, which can not only be used to control the prosperity and development of potted trees. it is still a shortcut to improve the rapid production of potted fruit trees and bonsai. Because there are fruiting branches (flower branches), regeneration branches, vegetative branches and central branches on this branch group. After the grafting survived, the fruiting branch group fundamentally developed and blossomed, and the irreversibility of this developmental stage made it no longer return to the prosperous growth stage.

When manipulating dwarfing rootstocks as rootstocks for beginners to maintain potted plants and bonsai of fruit trees, we can manipulate the grafted varieties of dwarfing rootstocks that have been widely used in the production of field fruit trees, so as to dwarf grafted trees and produce flowers earlier, which is useful for comparison. The dwarfing levels of the dwarf rootstocks used are different, and some dwarf rootstocks can make the grafted varieties only 2 or 2 of the original tree. For example, dwarfing rootstock of pear, beef tendon, citrus dwarfing rootstock, hairy cherry, peach and so on.

There are many kinds of developmental suppressants that can be used in potted fruit trees, such as Bijiu, paclobutrazol, dwarf, pbo and so on. Because the young tissues of potted fruit trees receive more of these substances, the dwarfing results will be compared only after they are used in the young tissues of potted trees. The author believes that spraying wine once when the new tips of potted trees grow to 15 centimeters, and then spraying wine once from 20 to 30 days, can control the growth of new shoots, improve the dwarfing of trees, and increase the number of flower buds. Pot planting of Fruit trees and dwarfing measures of Bonsai

Potted fruit trees and bonsai are field fruit trees planted in pots and orchards placed indoors, balconies or courtyards to watch. Therefore, in the production of potted fruit trees, in order to effectively restrain branch growth, promote tree dwarfing, maintain strong tree potential and excellent tree shape, and achieve the artistic effect of "shrinking dragon into inch", the following measures are often adopted to restrain the exuberant growth of aboveground parts.

Using mature branches as scions to cut 2-3-year-old fruiting branches on field fruit trees with good fruit, and using this fruiting branch group as scion grafting pot trees, this can effectively restrain the exuberant growth of pot trees. it is also a shortcut to promote the rapid production of potted fruit trees and bonsai. Because there are fruiting branches (flower branches), regeneration branches, vegetative branches and middle branches on this branch group. After the grafting survived, the fruiting branch group grew and developed, blossomed and fruited on the original basis, and the irreversibility of this developmental stage made it no longer return to the exuberant vegetative growth stage.

When using dwarfing rootstocks as rootstocks to maintain potted and bonsai fruit trees, the widely used dwarfing rootstocks selected in field production can be used to dwarf grafted trees and produce flowers earlier. This method is more effective. The dwarfing degree of the dwarfing stocks used varies, and some dwarfing rootstocks can make the grafted varieties only 2, 3 or even 1, 2 of the original. For example, the dwarfing rootstock of pear, beef tendon, citrus dwarfing rootstock orange, plum dwarfing rootstock cherry, peach dwarfing rootstock Shouxing peach and so on.

There are many kinds of growth inhibitors that can be used in potted fruit trees, such as Bijiu, paclobutrazol, dwarf, PBO and so on. Because the young tissues of potted fruit trees absorb more of these substances, the dwarfing effect will be more obvious only when they are used in the young tissues of potted trees. The author believes that spraying the first time when the new tip of the potted tree grows to about 15 cm and spraying again at intervals of 20 to 30 days can obviously control the growth of the new shoot, promote the dwarfing of the tree and increase the number of flower buds.

For example, foliar spraying PBO can effectively inhibit the growth of branches and promote the formation of flower buds. However, the residual period of PBO is shorter than that of paclobutrazol and needs to be used 2 to 3 times a year. In general, the mean tree sprays 300 times liquid from late May to early June, late July to early August, while prosperous trees spray 200 times liquid from mid-May to early June, mid-July to early August and early September. In order to facilitate the absorption of leaves, each spraying should be before 10:00 and after 4pm on a sunny day. Regardless of the spray concentration, it must be sprayed evenly and thoughtfully.

Using flowerpots to restrict root system using smaller flowerpots to restrict root growth, this method is also known as "binding root growth". There is a growth balance between the aboveground part and the underground part of the fruit tree. In the production practice of potted fruit trees and bonsai, it is intended to use smaller or shallower flowerpots for some tree species and varieties with relatively vigorous growth, so as to restrict the activity range of roots and in turn affect the exuberant growth of aboveground parts. this is one of the effective means.

In the production of field fruit trees, dwarf type varieties produced more genetic variation of buds and branches due to the multiple effects of physical or chemical environmental factors in nature. through observation and breeding, many dwarf type varieties (also known as spur type) were selected. The common characteristics of this kind of fruit tree are short body, compact branches, short internodes, sturdy branches, small increment of lengthening (the annual increment is 1 inch 3 to 1 inch 2 of Arbor trees), and dense and thick leaves. Such as' Xinhongxing', 'Shouhong', 'Yanfu six' and 'Yanqing' in apples,'Wo pear 'and' dwarf fragrant pear'in pears, and Shouxing peaches in peaches, and so on.

It is well known that pruning to control tree growth is known as "pruning long trees in winter and pruning results in summer", which is an empirical summary of fruit tree management, which can be used for reference and used to guide the production of potted fruit trees and bonsai. Due to the thinning of some of the overdense vegetative branches outside the crown in summer, this has an inhibitory effect on the potted tree as a whole. At the same time, the repeated coring of the new shoots in the growing season not only inhibited the vegetative growth, reduced the nutrient consumption, but also improved the ventilation and light transmission conditions of the potted trees, and was beneficial to the flower bud formation and early fruiting of the branches inside the crown.
