Planting techniques of summer apricot
Xianwu is a traditional Chinese medicine, because it will absorb root nutrients to germinate and grow in summer, resulting in hollow or rotten parts of the medicine, unable to harvest, so it is named Xianwu. Its root tuber is used as medicine, which has the effects of promoting blood circulation, promoting blood circulation, relieving pain, hemostasis and spasmolysis, and can treat rheumatic arthritis, hemiplegia, hypertension, sciatica and other diseases. So how do you plant it? Let's take a look.
1. Land selection and preparation
In summer, there are no strict requirements for soil, except for clay with poor drainage, general soil can be planted, and the best is well-drained, fertile and loose sandy loam. Because others can not be planted in summer, you can use idle fields to plant, turn the soil deep before planting, apply base fertilizer, and disinfect and sterilize the soil if possible. In a border with a width of 1-1.2 meters, the ditch is about 30 cm wide and 20-30 cm deep.
2. Seed selection and planting
Before planting, you should first choose a good seed stem, requiring the horizontal stem of the seed stem to be about 1 cm. Current-year tuber with bright color, no scars and no diseases and insect pests. The seeds are stored in cellar sand, and the cellar is dry, well drained, low groundwater level, ventilation and shade. The sowing time should be sunny in late October, and the hole should be opened according to the row spacing of 8 × 10 cm, and the depth of the hole should be 3-4 cm. Put a seed stem in each hole, which requires the bud eye to be upward, covered with a layer of plant ash or fine soil, covered with a layer of straw and then watered to keep the soil moist, with a seed amount of about 40 kg per mu.
3. Field management
After emergence, the seedlings should be watered frequently to keep the soil moist to facilitate the growth of seedlings, and weeds should be weeded in time after watering. It is best to weed manually. After watering, the soil is easy to harden, loose soil can loosen the soil, increase permeability, and promote the growth of seedling roots. But pay attention to the depth, so as not to damage the roots. After weeding and loosening the soil, it can be fertilized once, mainly organic fertilizer or urea, once every 20 days, easy phosphorus and potassium fertilizer in the later stage, and increase the yield.
4. Pest control
The diseases that are not found in summer are mainly Sclerotinia sclerotiorum and downy mildew. When Sclerotinia sclerotiorum occurs, the diseased plants are pulled out in time, and lime powder is applied to disinfect the disease points, so as to avoid the spread of the disease, or in the early stage of the disease, spraying Dysen zinc to control. During the onset of downy mildew, Dysen zinc can also be sprayed every 5-7 days, and the effect is better.
