1. Ants

2. Mice

3. Flies

The threat of flies as a pest is generally relatively rare, mostly in the case of open-air farming, but it is very likely to be a widespread infection. The principle is that the larvae of the fly sneak into the silkworm, latent development, and then slowly absorb the nutrition of the silkworm, and finally lead to the death of the silkworm. If the silkworm is found to be rotten or withered and has holes in its body, it is most likely caused by this. Sericulturists must take the best precautions to avoid flies coming into direct contact with silkworms and covering the top with gauze, which is both breathable and safe.

4. Toad

This is also a relatively easy harm in rural areas. Some soil toads will go into them along some loopholes in the houses, or hide in the holes in the walls, and come out at night to look for food. On the other hand, insects are the favorite of toads, and slowly wriggling silkworms like silkworms are delicious for toads.
