High-yield cultivation and management techniques of cauliflower
Cauliflower, also known as cauliflower and broccoli, is a vegetable we often eat in our life. it has good taste, high nutrition and good economic benefit, and is widely cultivated all over the country. But if you want to get higher returns, you need to be like a method in terms of yield, so how to manage cauliflower to achieve high yield? Let's take a look.
1. Cultivate strong seedlings
Cultivating high-quality seedlings is one of the key points to obtain high yield of cauliflower. First of all, we should select the loose and fertile land with good drainage and irrigation conditions, apply rotten organic fertilizer combined with soil preparation, and then deeply flatten the soil after disinfection and sterilization. The seeds of high quality varieties were selected and sowed from June to July in summer. before sowing, the seedbed was watered thoroughly, and the seeds were evenly scattered on the seedbed, covered with 3 cm thick grass to shade, and the seedlings could emerge in about a week. After emergence, the high yield and tongue shading net should be removed in time. When the cotyledons of the seedlings are unfolded, the seedlings can be planted when 5-6 leaves are grown.
2. Colonization
To choose plots with extremely high terrain, good drainage and not easy to accumulate water, the previous crop should not be other markets of Cruciferae, otherwise diseases and insect pests will easily occur. When preparing the soil, 2000-3000 kg of farm fertilizer and 50 kg of compound fertilizer are applied per mu as base fertilizer, and when flat beds or ridging cultivation are adopted, water is also needed when planting, transplanting with soil, pay attention to not harming the root system, planting time must choose sunny morning or cloudy days, so as not to affect the survival rate, planting to control the density, generally 2000-3000 per mu is appropriate.
3. Field management
Water immediately after transplanting, and then water every 2-3 days, which is beneficial to the survival of transplanted seedlings. After the seedlings survive, they should carry out intermediate ploughing and weeding, but pay attention to the fact that the depth of intermediate ploughing should not be too deep, so as not to harm the roots and lead to the death of seedlings. Weeding should be diligent, so that there are no weeds in the field. If it is ridging cultivation, soil cultivation and fertilization should be combined with mid-tillage before ridge closure. It is suggested that 10-15 kg of urea should be applied per mu, and fertilizer should be watered in time to make fertilizer seep. When the planting shoe industry is twisted, 15 kilograms of potassium sulfate can be applied per mu, washed with water, and the soil should be kept moist during the heading period.
