Bullfrog is a very fresh and tender delicacy, a large body fat, and is loved by everyone, so bullfrog breeding is very common now. Breeding bullfrogs on a few key points, farmers should have a good understanding, so that the quality of bullfrogs raised is better.

1. Feed selection

First of all, the introduction of feed, growers are generally accustomed to feeding insects and other things, so that they can do this in the young frog period, in the long run, the investment in the adult frog stage is too high. Growers can buy some common fish fry to feed, or small shrimp to feed, so the cost will be lower. If there are more local farms, you can also buy some internal organs to feed to ensure the diversified growth of bullfrogs, but viscera and the like are only suitable for adult frogs.

2. Culture density

Bullfrog has a certain aggressive nature, but in general, it will not be easy to fight, the reason for fighting is mostly because the breeding density is too high, affecting its normal growth will appear, so the breeding density must be controlled well. Due to the differences in the local culture environment, the number of the same area can also be different, if bullfrogs often pile up with each other in the culture pond, then we should pay attention to it. This is a sign of high density, and some should be separated in time.

3. Aquatic environment

Bullfrogs like water, so many ponds have special ponds. The aquatic environment has a great impact on bullfrogs, and they often soak in the water. As it is artificial culture, the density will be much higher than that in the wild, the aquatic environment is easy to deteriorate, and the water quality of the culture pond will also deteriorate, so it is important to change the water quality frequently. If possible, it can be connected to the running water interface to maintain the water flow of the culture pond for a long time and let it purify the water quality naturally.

4. Separation of size

Bullying the small is very common in nature, and what is more important is the rule of survival of the fittest. Bullfrogs are inevitable even in artificial breeding. Big bullfrogs sometimes eat small bullfrogs. Mixed-bred friends should find that some weak, small frogs have a low survival rate and sometimes disappear. So clean up the ponds regularly and separate some of the smaller ones so that bullfrogs can grow better.

These are some of the key points in the breeding process of bullfrogs. In order to have a better harvest, farmers can pay more attention to these things.
