Cultivation techniques of Tetrandra
Tetrandra, also known as tetrandra root and wood tetrandra root, is a traditional Chinese medicinal material in China. It has the effects of diuresis, detumescence, dispelling wind and relieving pain. It has good therapeutic effect on many diseases, and can also protect liver and detoxify. It has extremely high medicinal value. Due to the huge market demand and the depletion of wild resources, many areas began to plant at home. How should Fang Ji be planted? Let's take a look.
1. Land selection and preparation
It likes warm and humid environment, avoid drought, waterlogging environment, so planting should choose good drainage, deep soil layer, fertile loose sandy loam planting, hillside or wasteland is appropriate. Before planting, deeply turn and dry the soil, use sunlight to kill the source of diseases and insect pests in the soil, apply base fertilizer, shape and rake, and then increase the height of the ridge. The height of the ridge is required to be 25-30 cm, and the width of the ridge is 1.2-1.3 meters. Drain ditch is made. If conditions permit, formaldehyde solution can be sprayed for disinfection and sterilization.
2. Reproductive methods
Tetrandra can be propagated by seed and cuttage two methods, seed propagation can be sown in early spring or late autumn, the way of drilling, in the ridge surface according to the row spacing of 20 cm, the seeds evenly scattered into the ditch, covered with a layer of shallow soil can be, after sowing can be covered with straw on the ridge surface, heat preservation and moisture, in order to facilitate emergence. Cutting propagation should first select strong vines growing for 1-2 years on healthy, pest free mother plants as cuttings, cut into 10-15 cm length, cut in March-April, that is, before and after Qingming, according to the row spacing of 10×15 cm, one third of the soil, watering after insertion, covering grass to keep warm and moist.
3. Field management
Tetrandra seedlings are shade-loving, so proper shade should be provided after seedling emergence and cuttage, and other high-stem crops can also be interplanted to promote rapid seedling growth. In the spring, it is necessary to cultivate and weed in time to avoid weeds and affect the growth of seedlings. After rain, the soil is easy to harden, so it is necessary to cultivate and loosen the soil frequently to facilitate the growth of plants. In transplanting, water frequently, keep the soil moist, so as to facilitate the survival of plants, water less after the survival of plants, especially in rainy season, drain in time, so as not to rot roots. Plants need to consume a lot of nutrients in flowering, then 2500 kg of human manure per mu should be applied, and after spring, 150 kg of soil manure per mu should be applied to facilitate plant bud differentiation.
4. Pest control
The diseases of Stephania tetrandra generally occur in the summer high temperature and high humidity period, when the main diseases are leaf spot disease and root rot, leaf spot disease can be caused by spraying Bordeaux mixture; root rot can be controlled by spraying copper sulfate. Insect pests are butterflies, aphids, scarabs harm, butterflies can be sprayed trichlorfon control; aphids can be sprayed dimethoate control; scarabs can be sprayed trichlorfon control.
