[symptoms]

Puppies, depressed at the beginning of the disease, gait instability, facial muscle convulsions, paroxysmal spasms, quickly fall into a coma, blood sugar can drop to every 100 ml of 30mg. The female dog had muscle spasm, stiff gait, general ankylosis or intermittent spasm, the body temperature increased to 41-42 ℃, the respiration and heartbeat were accelerated, and the urine ketone body test was positive.

[treatment]

Intravenous injection of 10% glucose solution 2~5ml/kg body weight, can also be combined with subcutaneous injection of prednisone acetate 0.2ml/kg body weight. The bitches were injected intravenously with 20% glucose 1.5ml/kg body weight or 10% glucose solution 2.4ml/kg body weight and the same amount of Ringer's solution subcutaneously. Oral glucose 250ml/kg weight can also be taken at the same time.
