First, adult silkworms are reared.

The feeding and processing of medicinal Bombyx mori should be carried out professionally in non-cocoon producing areas so as to avoid devastating effects on cocoon silkworms. The time of raising and processing can be carried out all year round. In addition to a small amount of mulberry leaves, more evening primrose, silkworm grass, white clover and cross-leaf pine vanilla can be added to replace mulberry leaves to supplement the deficiency of mulberry leaves and reduce the feeding cost. The feeding and management techniques of adult silkworms are the same as those of conventional silkworms, which need to be kept until four sleeps.

Second, the production of bacteria.

Take 50 500 ml empty infusion bottles, fill them with cold boiled water, insert one test tube mother of Beauveria bassiana into 10 bottles, sit for 1 hour as the original seed, and then insert each bottle into 5 bottles respectively to make liquid bacteria. If there is no test tube mother, cold boiled water can be used to rinse the naturally infected silkworm, and the cold boiled water can also be used as a liquid strain.

Third, spray vaccination.

After the adult silkworm wakes up from four dormancy and peeling, the liquid bacteria are sprayed evenly on the silkworm body with spray noise, so that the skin is wet. If the activity of the strain is poor, it must be inoculated within 1 hour after the liquid strain is made.

Fourth, strengthen management.

After 15-20 minutes of inoculation, the grass was fed once every 5-6 hours. Indoor temperature is controlled at 20-30 ℃, humidity is above 90%, do not be ventilated. Generally, after 20-24 hours of inoculation, the silkworms begin to eat, behave rigidly, and gradually show bluish brown on the body surface, with black spots of different shapes; on the 3rd-4th day, they begin to die; on the 5th-6th day, the death rate reaches 70% of the total number of days, and all of them die.

In the process of silkworm death, it is necessary to pick out the dead silkworm and put it in the feeding room in time, maintain the same temperature and humidity, and make it fully ossified, so as to improve the rate of finished products and the content of drugs.
