The stomach of puppies has digestive function 5 hours after birth, so they must eat colostrum within 12-48 hours after birth, preferably within 6 hours after birth. Under normal circumstances, female colostrum is sufficient for puppies to eat. If artificial feeding is needed, it should be fed every 3 hours in the first week, every 4 hours in the second to three weeks: every 6 hours after 20 days. Artificial milk formula: 1 egg, 300 grams of concentrated meat soup, right amount of baby cake powder, 200ml fresh milk mixed and cooked. 4. Foster care. This method is suitable for too many puppies, postpartum death of bitches, less milk or no milk after delivery. At this time, let the puppies be raised by other lactating bitches (find a wet nurse, a nanny dog). This method is more beneficial to the growth and development of puppies than artificial feeding. However, the delivery time requirements of the two litters of dogs are similar, the breeds are basically the same, and the general age difference is no more than 3 days.
