Dongxue Honey Peach, a New Precious Variety of very late ripening Peach
Dongxue honey peach is a precious new variety of very late ripening peach selected from Qingzhou honey peach in 1986. It has been widely concerned and welcomed by many fruit tree experts and fruit farmers because of its unique advantages. It is agreed that this peach is a valuable variety resource with the latest maturity, the strongest storage tolerance and the best quality among the late-maturing peaches in China (the situation abroad has not been examined in detail), and has a broad development prospect. This variety has passed the provincial variety approval, and has been awarded the 14th Weifang International Kite Club Agricultural and sideline products @ # @ 119cm @ Gold Award, and the'96 third Macao Edison Invention Center International excellent Technology and Product Exposition. It has been awarded as the excellent fruit of Shandong Province and the rare fruit of Weifang City for two years in a row. it is the only extremely late-ripening peach variety that has participated in the National Agricultural Expo for the second time in a row. The Ministry of Agriculture lists it as a national high-quality agricultural product development project. Winter snow peach has been exported to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and other large and medium-sized cities, and exported to Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, the Netherlands, South Africa and other countries, has been introduced to 28 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions.
First, the mature period is very late. Under the climatic conditions of Qingzhou, it ripens in the first and middle of November, that is, between the Beginning of Winter and Lesser Snow, the fruit can withstand slight frost, and as long as it does not suffer frost injury, it can always hang its branches high and never rot. It is the latest peach variety in China at present, which is unique.
Second, the quality is excellent. A single fruit weighs 110 grams, with more than 200 grams, with a light green background and rosy red on the sunny side. The flesh is milky white, semi-enucleated, delicate meat, crisp and sweet, and the edible rate is 96.5%. It contains 18% of soluble solids, up to 24%, 12.5% of total sugar, 0.20% of acid, 0.66% of 17 amino acids, 0.66% of mineVc68ug, and rich in iron, calcium, magnesium, zinc and other trace elements, with rich nutrition and excellent quality, which can be called the best of all peaches.
