General varieties can be soaked in "920" solution with a concentration of 5 mg per kilogram for 5 minutes five days before sowing, then remove it and bury it in wet sand to accelerate germination for 5 days, and sow seeds when the bud grows to 1 cm to 2 cm. Do not spray water casually during the period of wet sand budding. If it is not too late, you can also use a sand bed to accelerate germination about 25 days before sowing, instead of soaking seeds with "920". The method is to soak the whole potato with clean well water, remove it and bury it in wet sand, spread sand 5 cm, spread potato block 20 cm, cover wet sand 5 cm above and around, spray water once every 2 days, and sow seeds when the bud is 2 cm long. strictly prevent rotten seeds with too much humidity.
Cut up and sow seeds
Slicing and sowing of autumn potato cultivation should grasp the sowing date, handle slicing well and operate carefully, so as to achieve a better harvest. First of all, the place of slicing, the high temperature season must choose a cool and cool place, generally indoors. Second, the knives and other appliances used should be strictly sterilized, and the cutters should be fast, thin and absolutely clean. Third, after the potato pieces are cut, they should be washed with clean well water for 3 or 4 times, and then spread out on a clean indoor mat to dry, which takes about 3 to 4 hours. Do not dry the seeds outdoors, lest the knife edge turn brown and rot when sprouting. The fourth is to sprout in the sand bed. On the wet sand 5cm thick at the bottom, spread the cut pieces on top, do not overlap, and then cover the sand so that the invisible pieces shall prevail. Put another layer of cut pieces on top, do not overlap, cover with sand, you can put up to 4 layers, the last layer is covered with 5 cm thick sand, the sand should be clean and moist. The knife edge can be healed after sprouting for 5 days. Do not water it to prevent decay. To sprout more seriously than the small whole potato sand bed, the humidity of the sand should be slightly dry, which is conducive to knife edge healing. Generally, the whole potato is carried out in the first and middle of August, and it is appropriate to cut into pieces and sow around August 20.
